Disappointing

Bought two of these candles for myself after a friend gifted me the smaller version about a year ago. I loved the teakwood and tobacco scent so much I waited for a sale to buy this one and the sweet grapefruit. Needless to say, I am very disappointed. The projection is terrible! And for the price it’s a little ridiculous. I can’t speak for the large concentrated version, but the standard is not it. The other comments are not exaggerating, I’ve had no luck with either candle on several occasions. You can only smell it when you’ve got your face right next to it!

Favorite scent out there

This is by far my favorite scent of all candles! I hate they don't make the body/hand wash any more b/c I'm a huge fan. It's the perfect amount of fragrance too. It's a warm, musky, comforting scent liked by everyone who comes over!

Smells amazing and lasts a LONG time!!

Another wonderful scent from P.F. Candle! Teakwood and Tobacco, Sandalwood Rose, and now Bergamot Shiso have ALL been amazing. Wonderful long lasting and great smelling candles!!! Also the incense is fantastic as well!!!

beautiful but weak scent

I've been buying from P.F. for years and have never really had the issue that seems to come up in reviews where the scent throw is not strong, but I'm having it now with the Concentrated version of this scent. I can barely smell it when it burns and I swear it's weaker than the original version (I've been buying Teakwood and Tobacco for years). Maybe it's a bad batch?

My Nose Knows

I own two large P.F. Candles in Teakwood and Tobacco flavor, one for upstairs and one for down. Additionally, I own the same product in a bottle of room spray. I am nuts about this scent! I was introduced to this candle by my sister, whose grandchildren convinced her that their great aunt would love it. Boy, were they right!! My nose knows!

Disappointed

I love this scent in the diffuser reeds. It’s a staple in my clinic office and has been for a few years now. Was stoked to find a candle of same scent with some heft. But third night burning this and I’m still sticking my face right over the candle wafting desperately for a scent.

Most favorite scent

I have never splurged this much on a candle but after buying my first Teakwood & Tobacco, I just bought 3 large size ones! I also have the room spray! Love love love this scent. Perfect feminine/masculine mix.

Wonderful Throw

I love Teakwood & Tobacco, however the original formula in my opinion is barely noticeable. This more concentrated version is approximately 1 1/2 stronger than the original, not overpowering at all, but in a small bedroom, with the door closed it will fill the room, which I love. Definitely getting this one from now on. I hope PF candle will do make a concentrated version of all their candles and keep the original ones of course for those that like the subtle versions. Definitely recommend!

Concentrated version is perfect

The new concentrated version of Teakwood & Tobacco isn’t twice as strong as the original. Instead, this is a deeper, richer version of the original. You feel the weight of the scent not by it being overpowering, but by the depth of the scent. I love Teakwood and Tobacco and by comparison I prefer the new concentrated version, because it envelops you in a way that original doesn’t.

Just a bit more

The concentrated Teakwood soy candle may be what others desire when looking for just that little more kick up of a scent. Teakwood & Tobacco is my absolute favorite (have bought at least 10 over in just the last few years). Many times I run two, one in my kitchen, the other in my bedroom to keep the soft warm fragrance in my vicinity. I find the scent to be peaceful and calming. The new concentrated candle shined in both rooms, perhaps a bit more in the larger room because it was able to better fill the whole space. I think this hits this "I want more" from the candle ticket, and thus is a win in my book.

can you improve on a classic?

if the original Teakwood & Tobacco is "the boyfriend scent," then this candle is the Travis Kelce--big, bold, beefy, and strong. it will be ideal for anyone whose home is open-plan and airy---its heady aroma will fill the space nicely. my only reason for giving this four stars and not five is that the OG T&T is actually a bit too masculine and bold for my taste. i love the subtlety of P.F. Candle's scents---they don't hit you over the head like so many other brands---and the non-holiday scents i tend to prefer are softer, lighter, soothing, and/or refreshing (think Sunbloom, Wild Herb Tonic, Night-Blooming Jasmine). but this will certainly satisfy those who love T&T but have been disappointed with its throw.

SUCH AN AMAZING PRODUCT!

Love love love this clean burning candle so, so much!!! It fills the room beautifully with such a soft, subtle scent.

Amazing for larger spaces

I loved the candle I got it in my all time favorite scent Teakwood and Tobacco. The smell is heavenly the perfect amount of balanced sweet with slight undertone of the tobacco spice. The more concentrated candle is perfect to infuse bigger spaces which is lovely. It truly wraps the room in a cozy scent. Highly recommend!

The Ultimate scent just got even better

Teakwood & Tobacco has been my home's signature scent for a long time, so when I saw there was a concentrated version in a larger size, I was immediately stoked! While this version has a larger throw, I find it's still not overpowering at all, instead it's just a little more of my home that is enveloped in my personal favorite home fragrance. Awesome job as always!

Exactly what I wanted

I’m so excited P.F. Candle Co has released concentrated versions of scents. Teakwood and Tobacco has been my favorite scent for years and I have been desperate for a stronger version, and now it’s here and it does not disappoint! I will repurchase over and over.

Gorgeous scent with mild throw

I’ve always been a big fan of PF Candle products. The fragrance is natural yet rich, and unique from competitors. The packaging is contemporary and not overly-fussy. The new concentrated Teakwood and Tobacco candle smells great but the scent throw is still very mild. I expected it to be more noticeable given the mention of more scent concentration and larger candle size. It may have been nice to have a double wick in a candle this large. It has an overall even burn; I had just a tiny bit of tunneling on the outer edge. I will continue buying PF Candle candles but tend to enjoy the room diffusers more as you can smell them more readily.

Am I Missing Something? I Miss You Teakwood & Tobacco

First, I need to preface this review by saying I absolutely, 100% love, PF candle products. Period. I would not leave a critical review unless I thought, perhaps, I missed a re-formulation of the product?

BEST candle in existence

I've bought 6+ of these candles. I burn them year round but the scent is extra cozy in the colder months. Smells like you're snuggling with a man by a fireplace. And these don't give me a headache unlike the Anthropologie or other fancy candle brands do. The throw is fantastic without being overwhelming. They make the best gifts and I tell everyone about them.

this scent never gets old! it's subtle and not overpowering, just nice in the background. woody, warm, leathery, slight sweetness, round? haha. people always comment on it when they come into my house, even when it's not lit. and this size lasts a long time too. get it!! : - )

My go-to

So I'll admit that I often buy corporate petrochem 3 wick candles because they're super cheap. But when I want to impress, or when I want the right scent, or to feel a little luxury, I break out my PF Candle Co single wick. Teakwood & Tobacco and Amber & Moss are fantastic! Perfect candle for your bathroom, but also these soy candles seem to burn slower than those 3 wicks I've bought, so the price difference isn't as much as you'd think. Will probably pull the trigger on a PF Candle 3 wick soon!
