There is no comparison to this wood wall plate and the very same item purchased nearly two decades ago. This is now a piece of junk — thinner, roughly finished and jagged all around the perimeter, weakly stained, and many of them have ugly blemishes in the wood that are not hidden by the stain. This company and product have really gone downhill.

I had wooden light switch covers already in place when I bought this house. I didn't like the **** dark brown plastic one the previous homeowners had in place. This wooden wall plate cover matches perfectly.
