Worthless towels

I bought these towels because I had purchased the exact same towels early this year in a different color. That first set of towels was very good. These very same towels according to the label in a different color are not at all absorbent. After bathing and using these towels, I was just as wet as when I stepped from the shower. They absorb next to nothing! I fail to understand how the same manufactured product can vary so completely.

Disappointed

Color was beautiful. But that's about all we were impressed with. Very VERY thin towels. And unfortunately, shortly after drying only a small part of our bodies the towels were SO wet that they didn't dry the rest of our bodies. The we would hang them on their towel bars and the next morning they were still damp and very heavy.

Wrong size and overcharged with no way to recoup $

I ordered the four bath towels as a gift for my daughter. I had them sent directly to them. Rather than their receiving the four full bath towels I ordered and paid for they received four hand towels. They washed them because I think they thought maybe they were just guest towels or since I am older ordered incorrectly. I didn’t and have no idea how to recoup my funds as I estimate I was overcharged about $30 to $40 dollars since they did not receive actual bath towels. I am really disappointed and Macy’s had no phone number to call for service.

Terrible quality

Purchased the black towels. What a nightmare! After washing 3 times the lint is so awful..unable to use. Lint is everywhere. Waste of good money. Will trash and shop elsewhere..

Nice but NOT made in USA as claimed

These towels seem nice (got them yesterday), but are NOT made in the USA as stated in the "product details" description on Macy's website quoted here: "Made in USA of imported materials." They are made in Turkey and IMPORTED to the USA and shipped from the USA (see my photos below). Otherwise, they are nice, but gave them 3 stars because of the false advertising.

Still Shedding

I normally will not leave a review, and these towels had so much promise, but after six months, they still leave a ton on lint everywhere. I purchased the burgundy, as we had just revamped out master bed and bath, and the color was perfect! The towels are super soft, and a nice size, and dry quickly, but I am shocked by how much lint is coating my bathroom. You step into the shower, and there is a red film from the towels shedding. I always wash and dry new towels multiple times, as I wear contacts, and getting lint in your eye is the worst. I tried to love these towels, but will probably end up giving them away.

It’s a towel.

It’s a towel. Nothing special. I washed and dried them before using and strings were already coming off. I got the blue ones and even after a wash and dry they’re still making blue fuzzies on my body. They don’t feel softer or dry better than cheaper towels.

Don’t get these!

These towels are a huge disappointment! They are a bizarre in appearance- dull and not appearing clean. The decorative strip is only one area on the towel. The quality is just not there and I regret this purchase. I would return these but can’t! I am replacing these!

Worst towels EVER

DO NOT BUY ! At least the black color. I’ve washed these multiple times and still the same thing happens I go to dry off and find myself covers in little black hairs EVERYWHERE! The last time I washed it, it literally got all over the cloths. It’s it’s really hard to get off. Very annoying purchase just save your money .

Only had them a week and the dye is coming off

Really wanted to love these especially since it said 100% Turkish cotton. Bought navy blue and dark charcoal. Had them not even one week and the dye is already coming off in patches. I DO NOT use bleach or anything on then and yet they are splotchy. It’s been 3 weeks total since I bought them and they look terrible.

These are NOT Turkish cotton as indicated in the description. They are fairly thin. The hand towels are too narrow to fold in thirds which is very disappointing. The washcloths are too large, like double what they need to be. Gave 2 stars because the color is a nice coral shade of orange.

Decent Towel Set.

I couldn't give these towels a 5 star. The first thing is that I ordered the color burgundy, I received dark red. They seem to be color fast (will have to see in a few weeks of washings). The color received is OK by me. The towels do shed a bit (less after time). The bath and hand towels seem a little short. I would have preferred, say >60" and >30" respectively. Otherwise these are very decent towels.

Colors easily stain

Literally the first time I used my light gray towels they started showing like bleach stains after first use. I wasn't using bleach I was just using my normal hand soap and shampoos. Otherwise, I love love the towels I think they are soft, durable, and absorbable.

Soft but fuzzy

Washed towels first as required. Then when I used them at first to dry off from the shower, I had tiny bits of fuzz all over my face and body!! yuck. Hence just 4 stars. Now after about 10 washings, I have just a little fuzz on my face or body. However I still have a LOTS OF LINT from the dryer - each time. These towels do seem to absorb the water, but they take longer to dry too.

The worst towels I ever had

At first I like the towels they were a great color and felt soft. Even though they were thin . When I got the towels, there was a little plastic piece on it, and I took the plastic piece off and there was a pull already. After one wash pulls all over the towels. If I can give this product zero stars I would. I was so disappointed and felt ripped off. They are absolutely no use for me now. Buyer beware.

Okay Not Bad

The towels are nice made well. Would recommend washing separate from other clothes at first use. Color does bleed. The large towels are average size.

Love these towels! Except for the washcloths

These towels were exactly what I was looking for. Not too fluffy, not too thin. Great size. Absorbs well. Does not give off lint. My only complaint is that the washcloths are huge. I prefer a much smaller size. I will definitely be purchasing more of just the bath towels.

Given as a Gift that I Can Use too!

(When I got my towels set (in record time I might add), I saw that they were indeed beautiful and well made. They were just light enough so an older woman can use the towel comfortably. I gave them to my sister as a gift. When I travel to see her, I won't need to handle a very heavy, bulky towel but instead, my perfect gift towels will be ready for when I arrive.

100% Turkish Cotton 6 Piece Towel Set

The set of towels is amazing! The color is great and they are so soft! I have washed them twice and they are still very soft!

NOT worthy the money.

These were supposed to be very soft, fluffy, absorbent towels. Soft is all they are. They do not dry you well at all, and they are pretty thin. Not worth what I paid for two sets of these. I can already tell these towels will not last long before they require replacing. Tons of lint in the dryer lint trap from these towels. Worst part is that they do not dry you off well at all. Take your money and shop for something else. Save yourself the disappointment.
