Saved my 35 year old tub spout!

Was able to replace my older (1998 era) out of production spout diverter with this model. Mine had porcelain knob, but diameters of washers and plug were identical. But you wouldn’t know that from the product description :-) I wish the two thin washer/gaskets were available as a replacement kit vs buying the whole knob and rod assembly, but I’m thankful they were available. 3rd party spout diverters are horrible cheap crap, so I was happy I could keep my nice metal and porcelain unit.

Disappointing, to say the least

This is the second one I’ve bought and it doesn’t work. The tub diverter in my kids bathroom won’t stay up so they cannot shower in that bathroom. Over the years I’ve bought two replacements to fix the problem. Neither time worked.

American standard diverter valve kit

I ordered these parts and received them within 22 hours of the purchase time using standard delivery (but this will obviously very given your location). The parts were perfect and easy to install . I couldn't be happier with Zoro and will definitely use them again.

The American Standard diverter tub spout I own is no longer manufactured, therefore replacement parts made specifically for it are not available. This satin nickel repair kit matched my stainless steel spout very closely and my significant other likes the round knob more than the original flat knob.

Resolved my shower working. Before water was leaking out spout and when I tried to pull up to divert water to shower head it would not hold when I let go. The finish is different than my polished brass but not too noticeable as they do not make this with polished brass anymore
