Posts too short!

THe posts are too short for my toilet lid. Did not work until I ordered long posts from Amazon

Better price on Amazon.

Rectangle push button to the rescue

I found this item on their website,great price,it was really easy to put in myself,since i wasn't going to hire someone to do it. I did have to sand down one corner,because it didnt fit,but its ok its on the toliet and working great.

Good replacement

The part itself is very good. It works perfectly. However, It does not come with the parts that hold it on. I have 2 of the same toilets and on one toilet it barely fit. I had to hammer it in. The second toilet it fit fine but I had to use the old attachment parts to hold it in place and those are breaking down too but with 2 toilets it worked out.

Very happy it fit my toilet even though I was told by the manufacturer there was not an option only chrome and satin finishes. Neither would have looked good with my gold and black finishes.

Improvement over all plastic

I have purchased these replacements twice now because the edges tend to turn green and it's hard to remove and looks pretty bad. I bought these because they are stainless (at least part of it is) and so far, there has been nothing green on the toilet tank. I am satisfied with them so far. I gave them 4 stars because only the top is stainless steel. The rest is plastic.

Great replacement buttons

I purchased this item to replace the original American Standard flush button that came with. The old button had become corroded underneath and the plastic fittings had cracked. This new button has a much better design underneath using a plastic box shaped fitting that probably won’t fail like the original.
