I would like to return these 2 items as I purchased a new American Standard Toilet from Menards in Hilliard OH. I did not have time to wait on the seals and hardware to arrive.

Do it right the first time.

DO NOT, use off the shelf universal kit. Save yourself the headache and order the right brand and size the first time. This kit installs with ease and no leaks.

Very disappointed with American Standard. Purchased a brand new Titan model and it leaked. Thinking perhaps the bold and seal kit were bad, ordered this set. Installed per instructions and the bowl still leaked. returned and get a different brand. No more American Standard products for me.

It was the wrong item. Home Depot carries the “tower”...

It was the wrong item. Home Depot carries the “tower” type of 3” flush valve which I needed, but since the tank has to come off the toilet to install it, a unique and single purpose T to B install kit is necessary, and Home Depot doesn’t carry it. They sold me this one which contains a gasket for the normal “floor of the tank” flush valve, and which does not work with the valve they sold me. I went to American Standard, and they sent me one gratis, but I was flushing the toilet with a bucket for four days.

The large rubber gasket did not fit my model, I just used the old gasket. I needed the gaskets that went over the bolts.

I wish this kit was available in the store as there are universal kits and ither brand kits but none that are compatible to the American standard. All pieces were great quality as original.
