Wish I Had known

Most American Standard faucet shanks are1 7/8” long. I know this because I called the company. The person I spoke with wasn’t aware of the extensions. Why don’t they just make the shanks longer!!! Very frustrating.

Exactly what I needed

I recently installed a copper sink through a wooden counter top and the ones supplies in the original faucet kit were not long enough. After searching the big box stores my wife found these on your web site. They were perfect. No leaking and no issues with installation. I can't believe I'm the only one who needs this product.

I honestly recommend this product only if the customer is absolutely set on the style of faucet otherwise I would go with a different style faucet one that doesn't require these extensions, other than that stay with the brass never go plastic you will have a hard time with leaks and also the nuts that secure the faucet to the vanity top may have trouble reaching and tightening down, in that case cut 1" or 1 1 1/4" piece of pipe to get your distance

Arrived promptly as stated. Was easy to install with included washers. Flattened portion on the bottom of the threaded extension made it easy to tighten without damaging threads. Tightened quickly and water supply lines attached easily. Best part, there were no leaks. New house, new sink, new counter top, new faucet, NO LEAKS. That's good!

This product is great as it was easy to install and it is a basic universal adapter for all sink modifications.
