teflon is a must
remember to teflon the threads. if you have to use a wrench to twist into placement, pad the jaws so the finish doesn't get scratch. masking tape works to pad the jaws.

Cheap but works
I may have over tightened it and there was a hairline crack. Seems kind of cheap but it also allowed water to flow from the source to my shower- head, and that's what I bought it for.

Bought this to replace the old corroded shower arm and flange. Installs easily but don’t use the Teflon tape that comes with it as it is junk. Use a regular Teflon tape.

Found a cheap plastic pipe that renters installed (yes, someplace sells junk plastic pipes). There was a crack in the plastic pipe that sprayed the ceiling everytime the shower was used!
