Love this brass body makes it feel like excellent quality. The install was easy to do and wasnt confusing, pretty simple setup but works like a dream conoared to the one i had in there before. The test worked well so i moved to install my trim.

This valve works well when paired with my Edgemere Trim kit. Installation was made more difficult in that the plastic wall guide was damaged in shipping. The ceramic valve works smoothly, with no "flex" at the stop. Definitely a quality build and will likely last for some time.

This American Standard shower valve body is easy to install for the rough-in assembly when remodeling a shower. The male threaded ends makes it easy to to atrach female fittings or to do the other way of sweating in pipe on any of the ends. So the balve body gives you two different ways you could go about installing the valve body assembly. The brass assembly is very strong and durable, not of cheap quality at all. I have installed many valve bodies like this one before ss a professional plumber and it is one of the best ones you could get, especially with the different ways there are to install it. The lock in plug is good to have instead of putting the actual cartridge in to.make it easier for rough-in plumbing inspections. American Standard has always made great products, and this is judt another one of the high quality excellent products that they make.

Solid construction. Well built and beautifully packaged. Operates with ease and precision. The solid brass components were clean and burr free in regard to the threads. Easy to install. The flow valves worked well, no catch when switching from hot to cold, on to off.

This was supposed to work with any trim kit but the construction crew said it would not. However, the work done by that particular crew had to be all torn out and redone, so, who knows? It's probably just fine!
