It wasn't necessary for my project since a kit was already included with my replacement tank.

All parts needed were included a wrench for tightening the bolts, but not over tightening.

This part fit exactly as compared to some of the knockoffs that were not molded the same way. I would buy this again.

Perfect fit for the fitting between the tank and bowl of our toilet. Glad I asked for help with product selection at the local.home depot as I would have otherwise purchased a round seal not knowing this one still existed via online order. Customer service was top notch in steering me in the correct direction. Part installed easily without an issues and the hexagonal molded interior fit perfectly on the hexagonal fitting.

I would buy this product again.

No, wasn’t satisfied with the kit .gasket between tank & bowl leaked. I took it back off and reinstalled it but still leaked. Purchased another gasket and all is good now. The seal I replaced it with was thicker and more dense. Got it at ACE a local store. Didn’t have time to travel to HD 38 miles and also knew the HD didn’t stock this part and would be of a great inconvenience having to order and wait for another one. I couldn’t return the kit as American Standard uses a special seal on the bolts for that particular toilet so had to use them.

I am pleased. It was a replacement tank, It fits perfectly. Hopefully it won’t crack around the flushing unit this time.

A original tank bolt gasket began to leak and this kit solved the problem and was easy to install.

I hate plumbing. But this was relatively straightforward to install. It had all the parts, and the tool, that I needed.

If you have an American Standard toilet, This is the kit for you. The weal fits perfectly. The bolts and seals on the bolts fit properly. It is easy to install and comes with a tool so yo don't over tighten the bolts. The universal kit sold there will not work properly.
