Absolute garbage

Flimsy construction.

Seat size and shape are satisfactory. Attachment to the toilet was quick and easy. My only complaint is that the seat is somewhat flimsy. I replaced a wooden seat that was solid, and this seat just isn't. The seat is molded hollow, and it is really noticeable. It does give a bit when sitting on it, and it audibly "creaks".

Defective Seat

Toilet seat was defective, contacted Build.com and they told me to deal directly with American Standard

Replacement

Replacement seat for the one that snapped at the back clip. Seat is plastic, like the way you can slide the top off to clean.

Pretty flimsy for a $65 seat. +1 star for the quick-install nuts, which are pretty neat, and +1 for good color matching and the slow-close function. If it was $30 or $40 I'd say it's good, but for $65 I expect better.

Would purchase again

Easy to install. Has a tendency to come loose and needs to be re-tightened. The slow close works very well. Quick release is a great idea. Would purchase again.

Disappointed in quality

Cheap unstable plastic. Connection between seats is lose and moves too much that it just feels like it will break any minute when you sit down on it. American Standard also charges more for the same product than Home Depot. $20 difference.

I just received and installed 1 of the 2 American Standard Champion seats for the 2 American Standard Champion toilets we have for 12 years. Very disappointed in how much the seat moves. Both mounting screws are snug. It has way too much play in the hinge area when you sit down on the seat. Poor design. Design engineer should be fired. The old design worked fine.

Doe Not Fit Cadet Pro Elongated Bowl

Should not be recomended for Cadet Pro Elongated. Does not cover the bowl like it should. Not comfotable at all. Cheap seat. Can't return the seat. Going to Throw away and order model 5020A65G.222 It's 25.00 more but fits better.

EXCELLENT TOILET SEAT

This toilet seat is the replacement for one purchased it renovations FIFTEEN YEARS ago. It started to split after MUCH use. I thought darn it if it ain’t broke don’t fix it so I hunted for the same brand model and VOILA .. found it .. YEAH ME !!

So far. But be careful when packaging products. Especially items sent thru USPS. Or Ontrac.

Nice look, only problem is the fasteners do not hold as tightly as I thought they would.

broken after 5 months

After about 6 months i went to lift the toilet seat and it just snapped. For the price a product shouldnt break this quickly
