I love the shape and how it looks, but a faucet needs to perform. The way the handle clasps into the stem just doesn't feel secure or strong. And the tube that goes under the sink that needs to pull out when I pull out the handle to use it is just jerking and not smooth. Plus, the entire faucet pivots in place, but also does so by jerking. This faucet uses plastic components in key places when really I expected them to be metal for a durable good, this brand and price.

I purchased this to replace the original galley sink faucet on my sailboat. While the old faucet was a bear to remove, the new one was easy to install and works great! I'm not thrilled with the sprayer portion of the faucet being plastic (how long will that last??), so won't give five stars.

Attractive, good performing faucet

Faucet works well, looks attractive. I was somewhat disappointed when I received it to realize that the sprayer portion of the faucet is plastic, however I have no complaints about it’s performance so perhaps the plastic sprayer in time will prove to be a non-issue. For a water saver faucet it has great power. It installed easily and I am overall happy with the faucet.

Good faucet so far after about a month. Installed easily, no leaks, and works very well. The only issue I had was the box was opened and contents had been removed from the plastic bag. I suspect a return, but I didn't see any indication that it had been installed previously (no tool marks or water).

You can tell the quality of the American Standard Colony brand as soon as you open the box. This faucet was really well packaged and secured and arrived without so much as a scratch on the shiny chrome surface. The installation was fairly smooth as my husband has installed a couple of different types of kitchen faucets over the years. I especially like the smooth glide and length of the pull out hose feature.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that the bags of parts where taped together and taped shut and this tape ended up getting everything stuck together while I was unpacking it. That isn't a big deal but the tape got on the instruction sheets. The faucet certainly is well built and looks durable and fashionable. The water supply lines are built-in which is great for installation because you can do all the hookup work down at the valves instead of up under the sink but if there is ever a problem with a line then you are going to replace the entire faucet. Also, you can't pick your own supply line length so I ended up with two big loops in the sink cabinet. The threads for the faucet are a little over 3 1/2 inches long so it will go through about any sink you might like. However, if you are attaching it to a thin steel sink be prepared to camp out under the sink while you turn that nut all the way in.

This is a god quality basic faucet with a pull-out sprayer. It comes with all of the parts that you will need for installation and everything included is of good quality. We installed it in a kitchen that had an identical looking faucet that had been in use for many years of daily use and had started to look worn. The homeowner wanted the same style because the old one had served them well. There is a notch that locates the pull-out sprayer so that you can't put it back in crooked when you return it to its retracted position.

Finally we have a modern faucet in the kitchen. The Colony Pro, single handle w/pull out sprayer is a very nice addition to our new stainless steel sink. With the chrome finish it blends very well with this sink and our appliances.

The American Standard Colony Pro Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet is a reasonably priced but high quality faucet. Installing the faucet is quite easy and you have the option if using a single hole sink or a three hole sink with the supplied cover plate. The water supply hoses are long enough to reach the hot and cold supply valves. The stainless finish looks great and the valve assembly feels tight and secure. The sprayer action button works well. If you feel the hot water needs to be adjusted the instructions show the procedure to adjust the Hot Limit Safety stop to your liking. I feel I will get many years of service from this quality faucet.

With the market for 3-hole kitchen replacement faucets dominated by low price, low quality contenders it's nice to see that American Standard has raised the bar by making a faucet with brass components in a modern stainless steel finish, with longer-life ceramic valves and an adjustable temperature stop to prevent scalding - all at a price competitive with faucets not having these features. My only objection to this faucet is its lower 1.5 GPM output; there are some kitchen faucets still available with higher outputs for faster filling of pots and sink basins.

Installation was easy, as I was able to change it out myself, which is saying a lot since my knowledge is pretty basic for home DIY projects. It's a good quality faucet with great water pressure with a beautiful chrome finish. I like the versatility of the pull out sprayer mechanism, allowing me to clean the sides of my sink and fill up big buckets. Sprayer retracts well back into the faucet and isn't droopy. I really enjoy using this faucet.

The Colony pro single handle pull out sprayer was absolutely stunning and glamorous the second I opened the box. I loved the curved lines and the attention to detail. I installed the faucet into my kitchen and my friends and family loved it to. I am impressed with the quality in construction, the faucet seems to be heavy with quality parts. The installation was a breeze.

This is a very sleek and simple faucet for my kitchen sink, which is exactly the look I was going for. Installation was pretty straightforward, made only slightly more difficult due to the age of my sink and existing plumbing. The base does move from side to side pretty smoothly, but it's not as loose as the one I replaced. Maybe that will happen in time, and you don't want it to be too loose anyway. This is also the smoothest pull-out sprayer I've used. Overall I'm very pleased.

Pretty sweet faucet. I think the overall look of it is pretty simple/plain however that's what I was looking for. Installation was really simple so no surprises there. The two things that I liked the most about this was the ease of movement and the pull out sprayer. Side to side, the ease in which the faucet moves is really simple and smooth. There's no jarring or sticky movement of the faucet and it spins effortlessly. The pull out sprayer is really nice. I've had a few other faucets where the pull out sprayers didn't work well or would constantly get jammed and not retract properly. This one however, works perfectly. It's easy to pull out and the weight on the faucet hose adds just enough tension to retract the faucet every time. Really can't say how simple but pleasing this is to have. One thing that was tricky during the installation was tightening down the faucet screw. It was pretty tough getting it secured tight enough without the faucet wobbling. There wasn't a real easy way to screw it tightly so just something to consider when installing the faucet.

This kitchen faucet is beautiful as well as functioning. It was easy to install and makes life a little easier. The hand sprayer has a rocker type controller on the handle that lets you switch from spray to stream very easy. What I liked the most is that it has a braided hose on the hand sprayer that will pull out at least 3 feet to allow you to get all portions of your sink area. In addition, the hose has a weight mounted under the sink that helps the hose to go back to position and not kink up. All in all it is a lovely faucet.
