Reviews
My sink was 32 years old and Wayfair was the only provider who had the one I needed and at a very good price. Needless to say it fits like a dream and it's much better then my old one.
American Standard sink replacement
Fit perfectly as the replacement for the 19 inch American Standard Cadet sink, which was steel. The Rondalyn is vitreous china , solid and shiny, and I added the Moen Adler faucet, looks and works great. BTW installation was done through Home Depot, also top notch.
Very Responsive After Shipping Damage
Part of my order was damaged during shipping. Build sent out replacements immediately (double boxed the second time). Excellent service.
American Standard Ceramic Sink
Very satisfied. Both of my old cast iron sinks started rusting around the overflow outlet, this cannot happen with these ceramic sinks.
Great Service and Delivery. Have not had sinks installed yet but phone service, on line web site easy, and delivery right on schedule. All excellent.
Called and ordered two bathroom vanity sinks after looking on the web. Very complete web site, the person I called was professional, friendlt
Inspection of received goods
This item somehow passed QC inspection even though there are two significant flaws in the drain flange portion of this sink. A defect in the flange resulted in having to invert the rubber cone gasket and applying construction caulk to prevent the sink from leaking. The other flaw is hopefully a cosmetic flaw that was filled with construction caulk also. The casting appeared to be sound with no visible cracks externally. I elected to proceed with using this sink instead of returning it because I had already installed it and was ready to get the job done. I may regret this in the long run, but realize that it was my decision to proceed with it. If it does eventually fail, well, that will be on me.
Replacing old rusted out metal basin
Awesome for replacement on the old metal undermount basins.
Quality Sink at a Great Price
I purchased this sink to replace a sink that was leaking in a rental property. The dimensions were exactly as described and the sink fit perfectly. The installation was straightforward with the included instructions. The sink is well made and looks great.
American Standard bathroom sink, color = linen
I wish the picture and color of sink were more congruent, but the sink is well crafted. It fits the space well and the plumber had no problem installing it. It was shipped directly to my house and arrived in one piece.
Bathroom Sink
Our local plumbing contractor put me . We had and older style. New sinks wont drop in. The big box stores did not work either. A contractor friend looked at at it. Se suggested going online and we found this and he had it installed. So much nicer looking than the older rusty one.
Not one, not two, but 3 of them!
I bought 3 of these to remodel bathrooms. They are much better than the original ones we removed. Easy installation and nice looking!
Poor quality sinks
We're in our 60s and grew up around American Standard products. Well, the standards have slipped. At our local box hardware store (Jerry's) we opened and examined FIVE American Standard Rondalyn 19" Round sinks (Vitreous China, made in Mexico) before we found one that LOOKED acceptable (even though it did have some smudgy mars that did buff out at home). Some of the flaws we saw: two had significant enamel flaws on the entire front lip; one had chipped enamel; two had very rough and bumpy seal seats. The one we bought was so uneven it rocked on the countertop. So we returned it and bought a U.S. made Mansfield instead at half the price. Sorry, American Standard, you need to improve your quality control standards.
Great Service
The sink color is a pretty close match to the toilet that is a different brand, but no longer available. The first one arrived in 50 pieces, but Ferguson got right on it and shipped a second one.
Product and store and people.
Very nice sink. Ferguson is a good supplier with quality and price. Have purchased there several times. The people are also very nice.
[Rewarded Review] Good sink for a good price
I had ordered two sinks, each sent in two discrete boxes. I had them installed by a plumber where I bought the facets separately. The spacing of the holes and size of the sink fit into my cutout as expected with no issues. This sink sits on top of the cabinet and the overhang of the flange was very ample to caulk and seal it correctly. The finish and workmanship looked great. I would buy again if needed.
Beautiful Sink!
This is a beautiful sink but has a few issues that may or may not be a problem. Firstly, the rim is not exactly flat so that when placed in the opening, it will require a fair amount of sealant to close the gap. Secondly, due to the shape of the drain attachment, It will take sealant to keep the drain from leaking. The back of the sink is flat and because of that, excessive drips (from wet hands), will run backwards where it's hard to clean. Even with these minor issues, I don't think there is a better sink available.
I purchased 2 of these to replace 30 year old sinks in one of my bathrooms. They were the same size and so it made for an easy installation. The packaging was really good for such heavy items and the price and free shipping is fantastic. I will order more of these when I start remodeling my other bathrooms.
Just what I wanted
I got this to replace an 18-year-old sink that was worn and stained, so I was delighted to find one in exactly the right color and that fit perfectly from the vast selection available. The quality is excellent and the finish is smooth and perfect.
Great sink ruined by one careless detail
This sink has a small "bubble" American Standard label placed below the faucet. It is very much off-center in my newly installed sink. The customer service agent said that the only way to remove the label is to pry it off. To do so could damage the sink. It is unfortunate that my sink will be permanently marred by a poorly place label. The bubble label is a poor choice in any case; it is ideal for collecting dirt. Previously, I had enjoyed multiple American Standard products. I am disappointed.
American Standard-Standard Sink!
I love this simple, classic standard sink. We installed it in our downstairs bathroom which our sons use. It is classic, easy to clean and very durable too. I like that it is free of extra grooves because it is much easier to keep clean!
