Love this, I would not recommend as a ‘always’ faucet as the tip gets hot when washing dishes so you can’t extend to rinse the sink unless you run cool water through it.

no sprayer

why would this not have a sprayer? trying to find a part that would add a sprayer to it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Perfect! We actually used it in our bathroom with a wide vessel sink and the high handle worked out well and the pull down is great for rinsing the sink!

Leaking

less than 1 year installed. faucet is leaking from within the faucet body into the cabin below. I have been getting no where trying to get help to get It replaced u under the 5 year warranty. Faucet.com told me to call American Standard (gave me the wrong number) - got the right number, have been trying for 3 days to get a call with them. their website crashed. its a joke.

I installed this faucet to replace an older pull out faucet that was past its time and had begun to fall apart. Installation was, for the most part easy and straightforward. The included instructions were clear and helpful. Only a wrench and Philips head screwdriver were required, and while plumber's putty/caulk is listed on the tool set, the instructions said not to use putty or caulk. There was only one difficult part in the installation and that was threading the retaining ring onto the threaded mounting tube from underneath the sink. The position is never easy or comfortable and the weight of the faucet caused the post to not sit straight in the mounting hole, causing some anxiety about cross threading. Thankfully after checking, and finding that it was only rough threads at the beginning of the tube, the staining ring screwed smoothly up the rest of the way, creating a nice tight, level, straight fit for the counter top portion of the faucet. As for the faucet itself, it looks good - mine is stainless model with a nice clean, bright finish. It feels heavy and solid and like it is high quality - no cheap plastic feeling parts here. The level is smooth and silky to use bth in Turin the water on and moving through the temperature gradient. The pull down nozzle is small - it's really just the end of the faucet nozzle, and it does not have a selector for stream/spray. This is the only part about this faucet that I do not care for and think detracts from a "Very Good" overall rating. Since the tip is removable, however, I wonder if an adjustable nozzle end could be used as a replacement/upgrade.

Boxed item came with a very nice faucet, bar type. Instructions were very easy to read and made installation possible in a short time. I had recently built a deck on our cabin complete with an outdoor kitchen. In the kitchen I built a cabinet with a stainless steel sink. We had remodeled the kitchen in the cabin and had removed that faucet. This faucet was installed in outdoor kitchen. After comparing the bar faucet to the one I had already installed, I decided to swap out as it was a nicer looking faucet and I like the shape with pull down nozzle. After removing the old faucet and installing the American Standard faucet I realized that the water tubing coming off faucet was too short to attach to hot and cold water source. This was the same problem I had with old faucet as water source was located under kitchen flooring. This was of no fault of American Standard as tubing would have worked under normal installation as it would have fit in cabin kitchen. In order to install I had to do as I had with old sink and go to Home Depot on Chenal Ave in Little Rock for an extension and fittings to complete. The person in plumbing was very knowledgeable and helpful. Within just a few minutes he had tubing and fittings I needed to complete. After adding these to excising tubing install was completed. Finished product looked great and was easy to operate. A plus for my outdoor kitchen. Very pleased with product.

I should title this review as "Use the right tool for the job". I have a small bar sink in a laundry room that I use as a utility sink to fill buckets, rinse paint brushes, etc. I have tried a bathroom faucet which would not swivel out of the way to remove buckets. I then tried a kitchen faucet which was just too big and caused me to spray water all over my counter as well as myself. I must be naive because until I found this online at Home Depot I did not realize that American Standard actually made faucets specifically for bar sinks. The AMERICAN STANDARD STUDIO S SINGLE-HANDLE BAR FAUCET WITH PULL DOWN SPRAY HANDLE IN STAINLESS STEEL, SILVER is the right tool for the job. It is a perfect size for my bar sink, it swivels out of the way so that I can remove buckets without spraying water everywhere. This is a heavy duty faucet that looks great and works even better. The pull down sprayer is great for washing my paint brushes and is equipped with something only seen on quality faucets. The sprayer connects to the hose via a swivel which make directing the spray where you want it very easy and will insure many years of use without having to replace the sprayer hose.

I've been wanting a modern gooseneck faucet so when this one came along I was happy but didnt know if it would work with my portable dishwasher. I ended up buying an adapter that fit into the new faucet head and also connected to my dishwasher hose outlet.

The American Standard faucet was very easy to install. The instructions were fairly easy to follow and they come in English, Spanish and French. It took maybe 15 minutes to install. Looks really nice on our sink and will look great after we do a remod of the kitchen. There are a few things I did find lacking. First, the handle is too high. With the standard counter height, and if there is a window in front of the sink, the handle might hit the window sill (it did in our house). Second item is that there is no on/off switch on the nozzle and it also doesn't go from stream to spray. Otherwise, I like it.

I love the minimal and sleek design of this faucet. I appreciate that it was well packaged so the polished chrome arrived in pristine condition. I haven't had it for too long but have found that it is very easy to clean. The pull down spray returns very easily to the base. The faucet has a good weight to it and feels very sturdy. My kitchen is mostly white/light material and it looks great against those colors.

This faucet fixture is very sleek and modern looking and am going to use ti for a bar sink I am installing and did not need a faucet fixture that had a sprayer and only wanted one with a normal aerator and this one has a pull down feature for versatility , but without the sprayer option I did not want . It also has a magnetic feature that keeps the pull down in place when not in use .
