Great scale to get you started

I bought this scale about a year ago to use as my main pour over and espresso scale. It does the job. Appropriate responsiveness, easy to use, easy to clean, small enough to fit my Flair Pro 2, and accurate. However, this scale will time out quickly and that can be very frustrating!! I will be upgrading to a different coffee scale with more features, but I am very happy with my experience with it as my first coffee scale, and am happy to be using it more in the pantry!

Best scale for the price if you can't afford a Lunar.

I already had the (Acaia Lunar) scale which is by far the very best on the market but also the most expensive. I bought this (American Scale) for my mother so I could have a way to calibrate her grinder instead of doing many trials and error. This is smaller than I thought, only the "screen portion" goes out of the drip tray so it isn't too large but if it would had been any larger it would have been too much. While not of the same speed "latency" as the Acaia, this is a very acceptable speed for its price, and I like the bright blue led. It's accurate down to 0.1g so it's much more useful than ur average cheap kitchen scale.

Good Scale

A nice inexpensive scale that replaced my smaller 1kg AWS. It is the perfect size to fit my drip tray. I can't speak to its accuracy because I don't have calibration weights bit it seems about right. The one difference that I am still adjusting to compared to my previous scale is the lag when either first turning on or taring. Other than that it seems like good value for the money.

Lag is annoying

Works well , it’s accurate, but there is a lag when weighing. The weight will shoot up when adding ingredient and there is too much lag in the reading when it comes back down. My Canadian Tire pocket scale (30$) works super quick with virtually no lag in the readings and is just as accurate.

Good value and I love that I can brew on it without worrying about maxing out the scale.
