Don’t bother paying the extra money for assembly assistance. For the second time in a row my appointment has been canceled less than 24 hours in advance. (And the prior appointment was canceled two hours before the scheduled time. I will never buy another thing from Wayfair. And they refuse to refund the extra 89 for the inconvenience. And yes, I’ve already talked to the service department. Absolutely zero help. Mind you, if you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours notice, you are charged a 25 fee.

Product received was damaged, made multiple calls for return. Still not received refund for assembly charges after more than two weeks. Will not buy from Wayfair again.

Incomplete

Great looking product. Would be even better if it included all the shelves required to assemble. You ding dongs left out the base shelf that holds it all together. Do you realize the hassles involved in getting that missing piece??? Sheesh..,

Had a few issue with scratches but Wayfair is very customer oriented and took charge in making it right. They are not as sturdy as I had hoped but they look fantastic.

Great shelf, a little challenging to put together but I love it.

The dowels did not fit the holes drilled for them. Far too small. It was impossible to link pieces together. Like a house of cards. The directions said We should use a rubber mallet to tap the dowels into place. Finally I got creative, used colored paneling brads to tack it all in place until the last few steps, when cams and pins could hold it all together. Also some of the veneer is cracked and peeling. The design is fine. Execution is shabby.

Made badly. Peg holes too big, had to shove toothpicks in holes. End piece came split, I wanted to send back but my husband glued and clamped it and it is against the wall. Back panels had a watery coat of paint. You could see the tan wood so I painted 2 coats of white and now looks good. Disgusted to pay this kind of money and then have to repair and paint. The good news is it looks great and fits our space. It is solid wood and heavy duty. I would say only buy this if you are handy.

This design is a beautiful style but it was not as nice as I expected it to be. It was packaged perfectly but putting it together I notice large dings and scratches in the pieces. Not my favorite purchase

This bookshelf was fairly difficult to put together, but it looks nice when it’s finished. Goes well in my guest room under the TV.

Nice bookcase, quite easy to build. I ordered 2 bookcases and each had an issue with either an extra pre-drilled hole or a missing one. Sent away for the replacement parts and should be an easy fix. Overall a more expensive looking shelf than it was.

Should have read the reviews about how difficult it is to put together. I've ordered quite a few book cases and pieces of furniture recently, and this is by far the most frustrating. The dowels are too small for the holes. You need at least 2 people to hold everything in place. The screws don't fit in all of the holes and stick out too much.

This shelf stand had worked in my bedroom and my living room. It’s made well and the different sized of the cubbies make everything on display look great. I love it!!!

Plenty of space in all the shelves and movies fit perfectly in the side spaces. Exactly what I needed, a stylish and great looking bookcase.

Very nice and sturdy bookcase. Assembly wasn’t that difficult. The only problem I had was trying to keep the pieces in place that were only connected by dowels as they didn’t fit tight on one side. The back panel comes in several pieces which is nice as I didn’t want the entire back closed in. I only used the 3 bottom pieces. Put together myself, but needed help when putting it upright. Glad I purchased it.

A huge mistake!

I found this impossible for me to assemble. I didn't realize it would be the most difficult thing to put together of anything I have purchased in my life. i live alone and don't have people near by who could help assemble this. You probably need three people to put this together. I vainly tried for hours without even getting the first part together. That is when I realized it was a waste of hundreds of dollars. The wood is sturdy which I thought was good but think about how much it hurt when pieces fell on me. I purchased it over six months prior but hadn't had the time to try to put it together. It is a nightmare and I can only recommend this bookcase to people who are expert furniture builders.

Goodness! Love this bookcase! I wanted a cube bookcase, but I LOVE the different sizes of the cubes. This is in my office with antique pieces showcased.

Lots of dimension with this unit. It's not too deep, so it's perfect for our little home office. It's a beautiful color and well-made. Our office is so chic now!

Came well packaged and was undamaged. Took approximately an hour and forty-five minutes to assemble by myself but for something complex like this, was fully expected. Like others stated, directions were confusing and seemed backwards but were mostly common sense. I have purchased furniture from this set before so assembling was a breeze. When I finished, the only extras I had were in a zip-lock bag labeled "extras" which was nice in case I needed them. It is a solid piece of furniture. I really like this series. Excellent quality and very durable. I will be purchasing other pieces from this collection. Highly recommend! Their customer service is excellent and they stand by their product.
