Nice, solid chairs. Be careful when ordering — the descriptions were off. The seating height is 18.5” — not 16”H (this difference is a more comfortable height at tables). Plus there were TWO chairs in the box instead of ONE.

I love these chairs — they’re great for my dining space and very versatile. They arrived already built, so no assembly required. 5 stars

The chair is beautiful! Well made, color is gorgeous, and it’s light weight. Originally, the description said it was a set of two and when I received it, it was only one chair. They have since changed the description. I am excited to get another chair and finish my dining room. It’s frustrating when a description doesn’t match what you receive. But the chairs are lovely!

Great chairs! I used them for seating at a round table in a small space, and they worked out great. They don’t take up a lot of space and can be pushed up close to the table.

These chairs are beautifully crafted. They are sturdy and the woven seats ales the very comfortable for extended dinner parties where we linger at the dining table. We love the low profile and unusual shape, and have been surprised to see them in many decorating magazines as we thought we had ‘discovered’ them. Truly lovely!

These are solidly made chairs in various colors. However the paint color is not consistent. Another feature is that the seat height is only 16". While comfortable to sit on the chairs are way low at a standard 28-30" high table.

These chairs are beautiful and high quality. They're very comfortable though they will leave impressions on your skin. They arrived fully assembled, which was great, so they were extremely easy to unwrap and place in my home.

Beautiful chairs. As the reviews say, they are a bit lower then your average dining chair. Extremely comfortable and look great. Well package.

The chairs are beautiful but they are 1.75-2 inches lower than the average chair. I wish I had caught that in the measurements (my fault entirely). I ended up returning - looked and felt weird at a table.

The very best price on the wishbone chair.

I hunted high and low for a reasonably priced wishbone chair, and this was the very best. Each arrived separately and fully assembled. The wood color, which is called natural, is rather orange/yellow, so it wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but is an acceptable trade off for the price.

Description

This chair is the original design. Designed in 1949, the Wood Chair was originally inspired by classical portraits of Danish merchants sitting on Chinese Ming chairs. Also referred to as the CH24 Y-stolen chair, the Wood Side Chair is widely utilized as a dining or occasional chair in stylish contemporary commercial and residential interiors accredited to it generous size and lightweight structure. Projects which have utilized the Wood Chair include the distinguished art museum of South Jutland. Through traditional manufacturing methods, the steam bent back and arm rail achieves the profile of poultry wishbones, whilst the tapered legs and natural paper cord are additional features on the Wood Side Chair. Their Wood Side Chair is true to the original with no compromise to quality and workmanship. The Wood Side Chair has often been considered one of Wegner’s more distinguished designs from his prolific portfolio consisting of more than 500 pieces of furniture.
