Great design, not very soft, though

I bought this duvet and matching shams when they were on sale for about 50% off. I inherited the most unfortunate drapes when I bought my house. I've been searching for years to find bedding that reduces their offense. This shades-of-terracotta/orange duvet makes the most of those awful drapes, but the duvet is very heavy and it's not very soft. I returned the shams...they were too busy atop the duvet. This item is occasionally deep discounted, so keep your eyes open for those sales.

Fabric is heavy and heirloom quality. The colors are beautiful
