Well made rug that lays flat!

The rug is lovely. I have returned several rugs that did not work out but this rug was a true keeper. Very well made, nice vibrant (while still somewhat muted) colors - very consistent with what was shown in advertisement photos. Also, a big one for me, the rug laid completely flat with no ripples. Sometimes, these thinner cotton and cotton blend rugs have some constant rippling when laid down. This is a better made product. The rug did smell when taken out of the package, and for the first day (I am sensitive to smells and chemicals), but by the next day the "off-gassing" was over and the smell was completely gone. So that was great! I wanted a colorful rug to brighten up a dull, older brown carpet in my office where I work and my dogs hang out with me. It's definitely not a fancy room and I felt that a nice rug would brighten things up for a "dull" room that has no particular design style. I really felt that this rug did the trick, while giving the "Southwestern" vibe that I like to see in my house. Very happy with the purchase! :-)
