Anolon Pan Offers Versatility in the Kitchen

I purchased this Anolon hard-anodized nonstick pan for its versatility. The quality of this pan was also a selling point for me as I cook with gas and need a heavy pan that distributes the heat evenly. This addition to my kitchen will last for years.

The handle is too heavy, pan can't sit flat without help

Seems to be robust and well built, definitely works well for crepes. Appealing.

Replacing my crepe pan

Have owned this set of pans over 10 yrs and still love them. My crepe pan was getting bad as I unfortunately cut food in the pan . . . that's a big no-no! So it was time to get a new one. I cook a quesadilla in it every morning but won't cut in this one. Great pan, great color, lasts a long time, great set!

Best crepe pan ever!

This is the best crepe pan that I have ever used- it is light weight, has a great finish and cooks quickly and evenly. I’ve had mine for several years, and use it regularly (only for crepes). I purchased this same pan for my daughter a year or two ago, she loves it too. This is my third purchase of the same pan- this time for my grandson, who loves crepes. He has sent me pictures of himself making crepes in his French language class at school and now is making them at home!! Best crepe pan out there and at a reasonable price too.

Excellent quality…lasts decades in daily use!

I first bought the Anolon “crepe”-style pan 21 years ago. I used it every single day several times daily to heat my tortillas for over 2 decades. It endured weekly dishwashing, too. It kept on “ticking,” securing a permanent home on my stove’s back burner.

Best fry pan

I searched quite a bit around finding a durable fry pan at a good price and I got a great deal at Macy’s. I bought this one on a really good sale and was so satisfied with this fry pan that I bought another one. It has weight so the pan stays in place plus it heats quickly and so easy to wash. Best pan for making breakfast. It’s a good size and well made so it will last with constant use. I will definitely buy again.

Great non-stick pans RTFM!

These are great pans! (Providing you read the instructions. RTFM! ) Hand wash - cook with medium heat max. Don't toss sharp knives or utencils into them while there in your sink. People have complained about them - I have a funny feeling they didn't follow the instructions. I've been in the restaurant business for 35+ years and these pans are quality cookware.

Non stick pan with glass lid

Great non stick pan. I use it to stir fry my veggies, fry an egg, reheating leftovers. I like the extra handle on the other side. The glass lid lets me view my meal while heating. The pan is easy to clean and wipe dry. As long as you follow the care instructions, you will not scratch or damage it. I liked it so much that I purchased an extra one as a gift to my friend.

I think I'm going to love this pan!

My first impressions on cooking with this Anolon Advanced Home crepe pan making grilled cheese (sorry, not crepes) is that it's giving me a fantastic browned crust like I haven't had for some time even with my other Anolon Advanced pans. Perhaps the new finish or how well it heats. Only drawback for the four star rating is that the handle is right at the tipping point of being too heavy and the pan balances to the handle side until you have something in it. Still seems to heat okay when empty even though it's not quite flat on the electric burner. All but one of my frying, saute, and crepe pans are Anolon now. I think I'm going to love this pan!

Great Crepes !

Great for making Crepes and even just fried eggs and pancakes etc.! A Great quality pan from Anolon. I’ve got one that has to be 16 years old and is still a great pan. I decided to get another one so I could cook more than one at a time. The newer one is even better than my original has nice heavy bottom for even heat and handle design is nice. If you like homemade Crepes or Manicotti shells this is the pan you want it’s fantastic !

PRETTY CLOSE TO PERFECT

I have had a small Anolon sauce pan for years and love it. So I was replacing a 12" fry pan. It is great so far I love it. Made cream of chicken and rice so easy to clean up and the pan went into the oven (only good to 400 degrees) but that was fine for this recipe.. The handles (when cooking on top of the stove remain cool. The bonus is a wonderful lid with the same cool touch. The sides are high which makes it easy for sauces. My only suggestion is that they make the bottom wider. Other than that its pretty darn perfect. I will say I always hand wash my pots and some that are really old still look fairly new. It works for me.

Quality not the same!

First let me say that I bought this pan to replace the old one that I had for many years because I love the functionality of the shape of this Anolon Advanced pan. Unfortunately, the quality of my new pan is not the same. It is lighter and came slightly warped so the round lid does not fit properly. Also I ordered the blue color for a change, but the pan had several scuff marks on the finish. I debated wether to return it, but in the end decided to it was just easier to keep it. The blue finish seems to scratch & scuff very easily and now my newer pan looks worse than my old one did!

Huge pan

The size of this pan is big! I had an analog wok that I was looking to replace because it needed to finally be retired. When I received this one, it seemed huge compared to my old wok but it turned out to be better, especially because this pan had a lid (although this lid did not fit perfectly on the pan) and my old wok did not have a lid. I just hope that my new pan’s coating doesn’t start peeling off like I read on other reviews. This pan would have received five stars had it not been for the ill-fitting lid. I would recommend this pan. Look for it on sale and use your Macy’s money to make it worth getting.

Very disappointed.

I loved the feel and looks of this pan and it performed very well. It appeared to be of good quality and construction. Alas, a small bubble appeared on the pan's surface after six month's use. I thought for sure the bubble might be food stuck to the pan and ignored it for a while but then it bothered me so much so I peeled off the bubble only to expose the layer underneath. I now don't want to use the pan with the exposed subsurface. The pan was only used on the electric stove top and never on a really high heat. The quality has not held up. I am so disappointed as I really did like this pan. According to Macy's website it's passed the return date.

Must use wooden or nylon utensils!

Overall, this is a very nice pan that heats evenly and cleans up nicely. However, some minor observations were found. The outside bottom can get scratches from being on my electric stove. I have noticed the glass lid sometimes makes a faint cracking/contracting sound when it's heated. I also noticed some faint scratches in the bottom inside of the pan. None of these so far are deal breakers but I will never use anything but wooden utensils that I have though I imagine nylon utensils would be okay as well. I would never push the envelope to use metal on metal though the accompanying literature claims any utensils (even metal) can be used. I think that is incorrect and will stick to my wooden utensils only. I am slowly trying to build up a set of these pots and pans in a variety of styles and will continue to do so though I believe this particular group has been discontinued.

[Rewarded Review] Durable and Functional Pan

Anolon advanced home hard anodized nonstick crepe pan is a functional, lightweight and durable pan. I was looking for a small pan to make Wheat tortillas/rice crepe, and this serves that purpose aptly. This pan is small in size (9.5 inch/24 cm) but perfect for making crepes. I use it on the smaller burner of stove top for 3 times a day. It warms up fast and cooks food faster and evenly. I love that the tortillas/crepes doesn’t stick to the surface and comes out easily. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip/hold. I like that it is super easy to clean, I just wipe clean it with wet soft sponge. Love it!!
