Mature and worldly depth with a complex tapestry of aroma

Vanilla & Bourbon 🥃 layers its complex aroma into the greater rooms of my house evoking a luxurious comfort with the warmth of a kitchen feast, a late night discussion and enjoyment with old and trusted friends. When I inhale the atmosphere created this mature and complex scent I automatically exhale the world outside and re-enter my personal welcoming space. Through the years I have collected the smaller vials and reeds from Antica Farmacista which I then refill from the largest size, which allows the fragrance to emanate from cozy or musty corners of rooms and alcoves. Very highly recommended.

my favorite diffusers!

The bourbon/vanilla and prossecco are my favorite diffusers. They keep the bathroom smelling dreamy but it isn’t overwhelming at all!

Amazing scent!

I purchased the reed diffuser in my favorite fragrance, Vanilla, Bourbon and Mandarin. It smells so good! Fast delivery, packed with care and makes the house smell delicious!

I can barely smell it

I can barely smell it unless I put my nose straight into the bottle. Not even when I walked past it or stand next to it, nothing. I bought the 500ml and it was a waste of my money. I used all the reed but I couldn’t smell it, reduced the reeds still nothing. I usually flip my reeds on past diffuser every week but this I have to do every two to three days still nothing. I have barely had it for a few weeks so I can’t already be nose blind to the smell because I could never smell it from day one. It’s frustrating. Not sure if I got a bad diffuser and reed but for almost a $100 is a no. I was hoping a found a forever brand but I guess not. The fragrance only goes up the reed and stop at about the neck of the bottle, from the neck to the rest of the reed sticking out is extremely dry

Perfect for Husbands Office

One of our favorite scents —the Vanilla Bourbon & Mandarin is perfect for my husband's office. It looks great in the Antica Farmacista lucite diffuser tray too.

Perfect for Fall

I find pumpkin is too on the nose for fall. This is a sophisticated, subtle, and silky scent. It smells like someone baking a string vanilla flavored pecan pie in a kitchen that was just wiped down with an orange scented cleaning spray. It smells like fall perfection.

no payoff in smell

This is a beautiful bottle and has a great smell. However you can’t smell it in a room unless it’s a box sized room or you hold it to the nose. Very disappointed with the smell not even coming when I put next to me on nightstand.

Barely noticable

I've purchased these three different times. The first bottle had an incredible aroma that filled the entire bathroom but the last two essentially had zero aroma. A huge disappointment and total waste of money.

I’m unimpressed with the throw,

I’m unimpressed with the throw, though the scent is lovely. Before you say I have become “nose blind”, I’d like to add that I have another diffuser, that is smaller and with fewer reeds, from a popular brand that I can smell as strongly as the first day I bought it. I have the 500 mL bottle, with all reeds, placed in a small living room in a duplex home, so it should be adequate to scent the air. If delicate scents that are lovely and hardly perceptible are your thing, you will love this.

Birthday Gift Extraordinaire

I have always loved the fragrances and was so sorry when Nordstrom's stopped carrying them. It is harder now to see which ones I want to order... I gave as a gift to my son his favorite the bourbon and vanilla. His condo is open concept design so the the scent floats through the living spaces.

Amazing Smell

So I was doing Christmas shopping and came across another scent I bought the other scent and ended up returning it for this. I went into store after and smelt this one. Ugh I wished they made a room spray cuz this scent smells amazing! Anyone who is a scent person knows to dip the sticks in the oil then turn them up so the oil is smelling up your area it’s in. The vanilla is so sensual and the bourbon is light with the perfect amount of mandarin such a delicious fragrance. $28 for a good size Bottle 👍🏼 I mean cmon to me I love scents and normally oils are over priced so I love this on my vanity and I will get another soon for my bathroom. I still wish they had a room spray of a parfume.

Ummmmm no

So disappointed, surprised Nordstrom is even selling these diffusers. I brought all of them based off of positive reviews, now I’m thinking the reviews might be paid promos. NONE of the diffusers worked, I could only smell it if I took the reed out of the bottle and held it to my nose……plus the packaging is regular brown paper and plastic??? Where’s the box? Where’s the decor?? For $30 a pop I expected more SMH

Not Impressed

The scent itself is nice but has a reed diffuser it’s function is not. I bought the largest size of it in hopes that it would scent the main room of my apartment. 1st the cork broke and I had to use a corkscrew to open ( the scent is very nice ). 2nd the white reeds are not attractive and the constant having to flip them to get any scent is annoying. I can only smell it if I walk up to it and inhale ( Febreeze scents the room better ). I actually smell more of the Nest diffuser in a closed room than I do the Antica. I like the apothecary bottle design but honestly it just looks like a bottle of booze on display with thin straws. I am not impressed and feel it was a waste of money. So it gets one star for trying to be something

Home as an Oasis

I absolutely love the Vanilla Bourbon Antica Farmacista diffuser. In our home, an evening Manhattan is the cocktail of choice. So, enjoying our Manhattans in a home that smells sweetly of Vanilla and Bourbon is a dream come true. The scent is meaningful, while at the same time subtle. It is woodsy, hearty and ever so warm and cozy. The best!!

For True Vanilla Lovers!

Fragrance appeal is such an individualized preference. I've smelled a few of the more popular of this maker's diffuser fragrances. I LOVE this rich high-class vanilla aroma the most! But, admittedly, I've noticed that Vanilla Lovers are enamored more than those less completely enchanted by vanilla. (The waft of fresh-baked waffle cones to me? Killer!) The bourbon is subtle; the mandarin is faint. I'm addicted. The quality is fantastic. The shipping packaging was impeccable.

Fills a large room

This is by far the strongest of all the Antica scents I have. It has a kind of smokey Vanilla smell, somewhat sickengly sweet and it gives me a headache. I can smell it three rooms away. I find the Ala Moana somewhat sweet too, but it's breezier. The Vanilla Bourbon is super clingy and just hangs in the room. It's strange, certain scents, like Aqua, you can barely smell, and others like this one smack you in the face. If you like the smell, this is a great one because it works so well to fill a large space. I can see I'm in the minority though, as most people consider this a favorite.

Delicate Deliciousness

Warm and inviting, elegant and irresistible. Even my husband loves this subtle scent, and he is quite particular about fragrances. I reverse the reeds every couple of days and the diffuser gives a lovely ambiance fragrance to our 700-square-foot loft.
