The fixture is beautiful hanging on the ceiling when it is off. When it is on the light is too bright white and glaring.

Review of the five Bodiam lamps that I have purcha

I have been the happy recipient of five Bodiam lamps which have served as the platform for dazzling quartz mounted productions! The appearance of the Bodiam lamp, it's price, the willingness of the vendors to correct misunderstandings regarding the ordering process have all added up to an overall reasonable and worthwhile experience. If you wish, I can send pictures. I call my productions, Reflections in the Citadel of the San Juan Mountains!

The actual lighting is awful

The light is very pretty and simple - just what I wanted. There is a serious problem with it as a fixture over a dining room table. The light is sooooo bright you can even look at it. The light is very cold in color as well. I think my guests will feel like they are about to be interrogated! When I dim it to a more acceptable brightness, the room is too dark to eat. Perhaps it would be fine in a hotel hallway. I'm really disappointed but it's already installed and there was no way to tell until it was hung.

It would be great if the LED bulbs were more evenly lit without having any "hot spots", but it still looks amazing and it looks intentional to the design for the illumination to show the bulbs a bit.

Lots of Compliments

We are extremely happy with this chandelier. It looks great. We have received numerous unsolicited compliments about it. It was a perfect choice for over our dining peninsula.

Disappointed

The fixture doesn't provide sufficient light for our use over a dinette table and turning it up all the way results in glaring, harsh light. Unfortunately we can't return it now that it's installed, but we will be replacing it.

Beautiful light

This light looks great over my triangular bar table but it definitely needs to be put on a dimmer switch as it is extremely bright.

Awesome, minimal yet classy

It was exactly what we were looking for. It was a little difficult to make sure it was evenly hung,however, it looks great and we were able to install without problems.
