Nice looking & handy

I bought these for our laundry room. We got a new front loading washer/dryer combo with pedestals under them which makes them taller and that made it tricky to reach the cabinets above them. I like the color and style, and being just that much taller than a single step (so I can reach the top shelf of the cabinet!). Not sure if I'll use the little drawer, but it's cute and I like the idea. Assembly was easy enough (although the last little wooden dowel piece that keeps the drawer from falling out was a little tricky to angle in there). I told my mom if she likes these, I may get her one to use as actual bed steps!

Great quality. I changed the color because I needed it to be darker, stained it the color that I needed. Like that it has a drawer. Was easy to put together

It was a bit hard to get the fasters on and tight, they are odd, but once together it is great for getting in bed!

The steps are easy to assemble and it's a hansome addition to the bedroom.

Sad Tale

This piece was very nice except 10 of the screws were missing. Called Hayneedle and they said to call the maker of the item. They refused to return my calls. Hayneedle ended up giving me half of my money back and suggested I could get the screw at a hardware store. They are a special kind of screw that is not available except through the manufacturer. After several letters to the manufacturer has finally gotten the screws, but this was a Mother's Day present that never made it.

Ok product

Not cherry and difficult to keep assembled.

I would not buy again

Holes not drilled all the way through for proper assembly. When "bolts" screwed in all the way there wasn't enough room for the faster to turn on the end of the screw... has to use a lot of wood glue to hold this together. It is very pretty and sturdy with the glue. Did not return because I needed it ASAP and was able to "glue" it together.

The bottom step is great but, the top is hard to get together. We never got the screws to work

It sits beside my high bed. It's much easier to get into bed now. It was especially helpful after surgery

Only needed one bed step

We currently have a very high Rice bed, and is difficult to get up on the bed. It never entered our minds to purchase one years ago, but will be well used.

Inadequate construction

The cams which you tighten during construction fit inadequately which leads to unstability. It does it construct correctly. Not a solid piece.
