The smell doesn't go away no matter how many times kettle was used. Kettle cord is getting hot even when kettle is not used. Get even more hot while is use. Dangerous. Really bad quality for pricy item.

Use it all the time

I really like this electric kettle. I've had it for over 3 years, use it all the time, and have never had any problems with it. And it adds a great cheerful mint color to my kitchen!

Easy to use, super convenient!

This kettle is very easy to use - you just put water in and press the button at the base of the unit and you’re on your way to quick, boiled water! I use it for water for my French press, to pour over ramen noodles, oatmeal and more!

Lid pops open

Bought a blue one for my Mother in-law , with in a few weeks while boiling water the lid would pop up and it would not quit boiling water , good thing it has a 1 year warranty, took it back and so far the new one has work flawlessly

Great for months - then dead

I bought this kettle at the very end of December. It was double the cost I wanted to spend but reviews suggested it was quality and would last a long time. Ten months later, with normal use by just one person, it's beeping and flashing "E1". There's no troubleshooting in the manual and the online "support" webpage is really just their sales page. Their customer service makes it difficult to connect with a person, and their hours are only while most people are working and not physically with the product. What a massive waste of money. I won't buy from this company again.

works great but SO hard to clean

The lid doesn't pop back very far, so it's really hard to clean- I have small hands and can barely reach inside. If they could fix the lid to swing up properly or come off for cleaning, I would give it 5 stars.

Handy Kettle

This is my first time purchasing an easy kettle so I’ll be back to give an update! But I’m excited to use it!

Disappointing

I received this as a gift last Christmas. Used it once a day for a cup of tea. It didn't quite last a year. It died about 11 months in. I think it should have lasted longer. I won't buy Dash products due to this. The color is pretty though and it looked quite nice on my countertop.
