Great kettle

Love this kettle. You can boil more water than most of the other ones. The last one I had you could only fill half way. Love the push button to open the top up and also a lever to just press to start it up. And BONUS points for being a great price.

Extremely low quality- possibly deadly.

I got my kettle last week as my other had started to make noise. Unfortunately this kettle makes screaching noises like a 5yo learning the recorder. Crackling and popping, so loud I cant hear my cell on speaker.

Fast Boil but it leaks

I can not recommend this kettle although I really love how quickly this boils a full pot of water. I have to pour the heated water into my French press over the sink otherwise it's leaks the very hot water and leaves a mess all over my kitchen counter. This has been happening since Day 1 and it only happens when the water has been heated - we tested it and it doesn't leak when the kettle is filled with hot water from the tap. It leaks just below the spout where the plastic band wraps around the glass. Maybe I have a defective one ? :(

Bought this unit yesterday at Walmart. Was impressed with design and features as well as price. After reading instructions thoroughly I tted the unit and it immediately leaked from the bottom of the kettle. Wow...this can be a real danger!. I shut unit off and unplugged it. After drying it off I tried it again and it continued to leak. Potentially a real danger. I will be returning this unit today for an exchange, however, if it fails my motto is "two strkes and you are out!!" I will post an update.....

Not a safe product, after about 6 months this kettle has a power base that has meted around the wiring in the center and caused the connections to come loose. The burning plastic smell started near sept 1 and following inspection it has been determined that there is insufficient support for the hot electrical connections resulting in the plastic securing clips turning to liquid. Extremely poor quality and testing. Being as this was purchased in Nelson ,bc ,Canada, the shipping cost to send this back for a replacement under Warranty will far exceed replacing with a different manufacturer. no more Kalorik for this family. product #2 failure.

This kettle will fail extremely rapidly! The hard plastic that surrounds the two control buttons – on/off & temperature - is brittle. It doesn’t flex. It cracks and eventually breaks, exposing the inside of the handle, which is a potential safety hazard. In our case these buttons cracked and sunk in within weeks; we had to send the kettle back two months after buying it. Kalorik’s customer service was quick and responsive but not very accommodating. Do not buy!

This is a very nice kettle. I have been able to save a lot of time to boil water. It has good shape of body to use it and safety functions. I am willing to recommend this one who need a electonic kettle.
