The filter arrived opened at the top & did not think anything of it. Installed it & when the water came out it was black. The pressure being low. Removed it checking everything out to be sure it was on properly. The pressure is very low and I don't like it!

Easy to change and water quality has been good. The housing "O" ring should be replaced after about four cartridge changes.

Great Product Watch Out With Filter Changes

Great Product but Watch Out When Screwing A Filter Into The Housing. It's Very Easy To Snap The Thread Off. Then You Have A New Project To Complete.

Product works but has installation issues

The filter works well for 4.months before needed replacement but replacing it has issues. One must be very careful with the hand-tension-only screwing in of the cartridge into the case head. Too loose and water bypasses the filter; too tight and the screw-in nipple will break off trying to remove the cartridge. This happened twice with fully licensed plumbers doing the replacement.

The screw tops are pretty weak. It is too easy to overtighten it resulting in it snapping off.

Filters fit were much much less expensive than the brand name and they fit and work perfectly! Will order again.

I have bought several different replacement filters from Discount Filter Store and am very satisfied. The prices were much lower than elsewhere and the customer service reps were very helpful in guiding me through the purchase and making sure I ordered the correct filters. I received the new filters within a few days and shipping was free.

1 month after install, the water became extremely cloudy (see picture). Is it possible that is only how long the filters last? I will change filter and post later if it happens again. Hopefully this is just one defective filter.

This system came with our house, and we have used it ever since. It does a nice job of filtering the water. The water filter cartridges are easy to order and to install.

The nub at the top of the filter which I was removing broke off. It was a bear to remove from the threaded receptacle. The unit I was removing was a Neo-Pure. The plastic seemed very soft. I'd suggest charging a little more and using a copper fitting. Then your product would be better than your competitors, some of which I've read have the same problem. If that's not possible, a better grade of plastic would be an improvement.

This one is the best for the 3M Aqua-Pure filter

I've used other cartridges, but this one is the best probably because its form 3M. It's not easy to clean because you don't have to. You throw it away after 6+ months.

We kept putting off purchasing this filter for our kitchen faucet because of the price. I am so happy to have found this site for this and all future purchases! It's compatible with our unit and works just as well, if not better than the more expensive brand. This company has become our new go to store!

Shop worn, but each was still sealed

Seemed like to me that there was a weird taste at first. This could have been because I failed to clean the housing really well before inserting the new filter. Otherwise, a good deal.

We have a AP200 use

We have an AP200 under our sink in the kitchen for years. We do have good water but wanted to take out rust. It has worked very good.
