poor softening

I have been using this unit for one year now and it does not soften my hard water nearly as well as it should. Using the hardness provided by my water supplier I calculated that I needed to regenerate the system every 2,100 gallons. So I set it to 1,500 to be a little conservative on that. Judging by the calcification in my coffee maker, I determined that 1,500 gallons must not be frequent enough. So I tried regenerating every 1,000 gallons for a few months. I think that helped a little, but not enough, so I set it to 500 gallons with little improvement.

Nightmare - Don't buy this package from homedepot

Receiving this package is nightmare- still waiting for complete order after 4th time order. First time UPS delivered - 2 boxes were open and items damaged, filter missing. Reordered for pickup from store, but store didn't receive one package out of number of packages shipped to store. Ordered third time, they were missing 2 big boxes. Ordered 4th time and waiting. Wasted hours in store and on phone multiple times. Homedepot is unable to track and handle package properly as one single order.

I think the system is working well, but the installation manual and the small connecting parts like fasteners and screw types are something that could be improved quite a bit for the customer.

Very hard to find someone to install this water softener. Kitchen sink water filters has an odd taste.

Was sent a wrong item and getting it resolved has been an absolute nightmare.

The R.O produces very clear and tasty water, softener was simple to assemble and connect.

My dad finally got this installed for us and our water is CRYSTAL CLEAR! We have extremely high iron and manganese levels in our water and it was as Orange as could be. Our water is finally crystal clear and tastes amazing. Our hair and skin feels so much better now. Great system.

We are satisfied with the product that we bought in June 2022. The RO water will taste better after couple of cycles. We haven’t really tested the softener for hardness however we haven’t seen hardness (sediments, white spots) with the washing machine or dish washer.

LEAKS LIKE A SIEVE!

AQUASURE SUCKS! This thing leaks like a sieve! I wanted to avoid problems, so I hired a professional plumber to install my 64,000 grain Aquasure Softener System. In about an hour, he had everything installed, but that's when the trouble started. Water POURED from the connections between the Control Head and the Bypass Unit when we turned the water back on. So, we turned off the water, and repeatedly tried tightening the connections, applying Teflon tape, replacing the O-rings, etc., etc. etc. Remember, I've got a professional plumber doing the install. He's charging me by the hour. Four hours later, we still had terrible leaks between the Control Head and the Bypass Unit.
