Esay installation
Easy to install. I have not had it long enough to give a good review of the performance, but it went in easy and fit nicely against the wall in my garage.
Water isn't worse (9 month review)
Our water is pretty nice to begin with so we haven't noticed much in terms of water quality improvement (or worsening). For install, the treaded plastic was really loose and needed over 20 wraps of regular Teflon tape to get it to seal on the fitting. I checked the sediment after 9 months, it's catching some grit but still looks pretty nice.
