DO NOT BUY THIS FAUCET!!

I had this faucet put in when we had our bathroom renovated a year ago and I hated it! When you turn the water on you get a splash all over your counter and all over the floor. My contractor laid construction paper on the floor and counter and turned on the water. You could see splashes three feet away!! He turned the water way down and it did not make a difference. It took a while but eventually my contractor was able to get a refund and replaced my faucet with one where the water comes out normally.

Great looking faucet but....

I just installed the Modern in our guest bathroom and I'm not that impressed with it. Two things are picking at me. The water supply lines that came with the faucet were 6 inches too short. I had to purchase two extra hoses to extend them so they would reach the valves. The second thing is the water flow, or lack of it. I understand that flow restrictors are now required but even at full flow, there is barely enough flow. I'm happy with how it looks but that's about it.

Metal chunks

Installed and very low pressure. Took apart faucet per directions, cleaned out metal debri from manufacturing. Put together and repeat multiple times. So much metal welding debris left in the faucet it’s unbelievable. Returning as this is unacceptable. Delta should pay me for the wasted time I’ll never get back due to poor craftsmanship

Delta sink faucet

The design is fantastic and looks beautiful. However, we have two concerns and I am hoping Delta can assist. (1) The water flow is an issue, barely enough flow or pressure to wash a tooth brush or fill a glass. How can this be corrected ? (2) Once it get wet it leaves water marks that are almost impossible to remove is there a solution for this ? Thank you for your prompt look into this Regards Paul

Exactly what we were looking for

I ordered the Delta Ara faucet for a bathroom design project. We chose a semi-recessed sink, so not just any faucet was going to work. This faucet’s design (with the handle on the top) is just what we needed.

A very well built faucet. Solid construction and operation. Hook up was simple with all the lines installed. Finish was flawless and it came well packed and protected by Delta. Only annoying thing is the flat top to the spout. It is so dead on level that water just sits on it. My older version was more rounded in style and I did not have this issue. A slight oversight on my part when I decided to go with the Ara line of fixtures for my remodel. I do like the look and style of the line, so will have to live with it.

well, the picture does not convey good idea about the size of this thing. It is brute of a faucet. Stainless steel finish makes it look like heavy-duty military product. I'm OK with modern design but, IMHO, this one would feel at home on a factory floor. Also, square downspout makes water stream way too turbulent so that the basin is splashed all over after even a careful use. Not recommended.

Does not have aerator

Be advised this faucet does come with a conventional aerator, which would normally incorporate tiny "effervescent" bubbles into the flow stream to help dampen the water's impact as it hits the sink bottom. Rather, this faucet is designed w/ a flow that comes out as two intertwined ribbons of water. Pretty to look at I suppose, if that's important to you. But be aware that the undampened flow will cause droplets of water to bounce up off the bowl and onto your walls, vanity top, adjacent surfaces such as glass shower enclosure, etc ... anything w/in 18-24".

The product (or at least the product literature for not making this feature clear) has one serious flaw. There is no aerator per se, which would otherwise in a normal situation generate a "dampened" stream of bubbly water leaving the faucet. So as the water hits the basin undampened it bounces up and causes splatter all over the sink, floor and wall ... basically anything within 2 feet (including in my case the glass sidewall of my adjacent shower enclosure)!

Delta Ara Faucet

Very Nice! Modern Design. Has ribbon stream instead of traditional round aerator. Came with adapter for centerset faucet design as well as single hole. Easy installation. It's takes s little work to remember to center the handle every time you use the faucet to maintain the look, Chrome is a little more work to keep spot free. For those that don't want to wipe down daily, get the brushed finish.

Beautiful faucet

I purchased this faucet to replace a price pfister trough style that we had only 4 years. This faucet speaks in style and decoration. Installation was simple. My only complaint and hence the 3 star rating is that the water flow is pathetic. It is barley strong enough to wash toothpaste down the drain. The supply hoses are small. We are unsure what to do to improve this problem. If you need to conserve water this is the faucet for you
