I'm unsure if the down alternative material plays a role in this, but the pillow feels like sleeping on a cinder block. Regardless of whether I'm on my back, side, or stomach, I wake up with a neck ache. With this pillow. The pillow was returned.

Extremely firm, unless I lie down perfectly on my back the pillow wants to throw me off. Also provides such a high angle that it is physically painful to sleep on. It cranks my neck. Will be returning for a full refund.
