The lights are bright and truly make a difference. I put them up under my kitchen cabinets so I would have more surface lighting. Much better! Only thing to be aware of is the reflection on the granite countertops. At a distance you don't see them, but when you're standing at the counter you can see the light tape reflecting on the counter.

It’s Great but nit Grrreeeaaat

The lights are beautiful and I like that they can be brightened or dimmed, and that the color can be changed from warm to brilliant. The only drawback is that they are controlled by a remote. While that is nit a significant problem for me ( I hope), I believe it would be a problem for a multi-person family.

I have used this twice now. Instructions are clear and installation is easy. Nice that everything is included, elsewhere you have to purchase the transformer separately.

Incredibly easy to install and looks fantastic. Lighting is even across the entire length of our cabinets. The output is bright enough that we often run it at 50% and the fixture provides adequate light for most tasks.

I've purchased 5 of the Armacost Lighting RibbonFlex 16ft white tape light kits. I used one in a closet, one to illuminate a curio cabinet and 3 to provide indirect ceiling light in my dining room. I paired the 3 in my dining room to a single remote. I found the installation instructions clear and easy to follow. Installation was very straightforward. The light strips provide excellent illumination (2000 lumens each). The remote offers selectable color temperature and brightness. They are everything I wanted in an LED tape light!. I recommend them highly!

Worked out perfectly!

This lighting system worked out perfectly in my kitchen. I added the aluminum channels with the diffusers and I couldn’t be more happy. I connected it to a switched outlet which really makes it feel like part of the original construction. Highly recommended.

I used the ribbon lighting inside my bookcase. It made a tremendous difference in opening up that side of my room which was always dark. I had a plug inside the bottom cabinet so I only had to drill two untouchable small holes to bring the ribbon up to the bookcase shelving. I’m thrilled with the results and the product.

Perfect lighting

Lights were almost ready to use, just a matter of sticking the LED tape in place and plugging in. We used it to illuminate a step from the dining to the living room. Dimmer lets us choose the amount of light. We love it!

Paid someone to install them for me. It was moderately easy for him to figure out how to make it work. I would like them to be a little brighter but overall, I am happy with the way they look. They have remotes that you can change the color of the lights from Cool, Warm and kind of middle of the road, more like daylight. We selected the daylight setting.

I liked everything about the lights except the wire jumpers for going around corners. I wound up spending more time and tape trying to get the connections made than on installing the lights. I recommend just gently bending the tape over using these connectors.

TOTAL GARBAGE. Connections failed within 6 months of install. The transformer gets very hot too. Not something you would want mounted to a wooden stud, behind your wall. Now i have rip everything apart to install a decent light strip and transformer. TOTAL GARBAGE.

Lighting is great. But had to get creative with the extensions because the clip-on ends are so large. I chose not to drill large holes under my cabinets to pass the ends through. Instead I cut the wires in the extension, passed the wires through each side of the small holes and souldered the wires back together.

Great way to save money on under cabinet lighting! It took two college educated people to figure out the install using the channel accessory, but it was worth it. Knowledge of soldering and splicing is needed if you have a big project with several turns, etc.

The lights are great but install was a pain. The connector clips included didn’t work to splice and go around the microwave! So frustrating, ending up soldering and worked well! Just wasted a lot of time. If it wasn’t for the issue with the connectors I would have given 5 stars.

I used this ribbonflex tape light kit to illuminate the stairs going up to the loft in my cabin. It was super easy to install - just peel the paper backing off the ribbon and press into place. It adhered extremely well. I found that at the 10% level the light was bright enough. There is the option for warm light, cool light or a combination of both. The remote is self explanatory - easy to use. The kit comes with connectors and instructions on how to cut and connect extra ribbons, which I did not need. It also includes helpful instructions for optimal placement for under or over cabinet lighting.

Would be ok if only only to break it in 2 spots

I'm sure these lights are fine enough, but they only come with 2 extenders, and any cabinetry would need much more than two.
