Loved the chair

Chair is perfect for our new island: all but top few inches fits under counter so not obtrusive, my husband likes the arms to rest on, leather cleans up easy, adult kids like that it swivels. Only issue is how it was made: no nuts were put on bolts that connect the base to seat. As we sat on them in first week, the bolts just fell out. So we were going to return them as all the Armen chairs were built that way. But I'm putting in a plug for Homemakers back of the house staff: they fixed them with nuts so they could be tightened and stay in place. We got the chairs we liked and they didn't fall apart!

We have ordered many products from houzz and been happy every time but these counter stools were not of a good quality. Difficult to get the screws through the bottom metal plate unless you had the hand of a 2 year old. There is a metal piece where the padded arm rest sits that has a very rough edge and will likely cut someone. The back is very flimsy and bends when sat in by a larger person of about 175 lbs. . I would not recommend these stools.

Comfortable

We really liked the look and comfort of these stools but the hardware didn’t work and would fall apart. My husband had to reengineer the hardware for us to keep the stools, he fixed them so we are keeping them. But beware, bad hardware.

Heavy duty and easy 4 bolt assembly. The price was the best you could find, now I need to find 2 more away this price.
