Outstanding

You buy it for the aesthetics but keep it for the ergonomics: It's delightful to use!

Contemporary flatware

Arne Jacobsen flatware saris intense longings for something different, something interest and devastatingly different. It fulfills all of the foregoing and is also extremely well-balanced and functional

Arne Jacobsen Flatware

The flatware was too lightweight and the quality not what one associates with Arne Jacobsen design. I returned order (05014729) but my account has not been credited.

concerned about wear

We love the design of this cutlery and impatiently waited for it to come back into stock -- but I'm concerned about how they will wear. They don't come out of the dishwasher looking beautiful, particularly the knives get little dots that look like rust (?) and they are spotted and stained. I'm going to research more, but we have a Miele dishwasher that we use very little detergent in, plus rinse agent. I'm going to be really disappointed if we've just bought 12 sets of stainless steel cutlery that I have to wash by hand. Any advice appreciated.

Beautiful and Timeless

I ordered 8 sets. Although I do love the design they are on the smaller side. Also they are designed in Netherlands but as reflected on the price tag, made in P.R.C (China).

Arne Jacobsen flatware

I have many pieces that were designed by Arne Jacobsen and this set of flatware is an excellent addition to my collection . . . The design is timeless and the packaging is exquisite.

Photo is a little misleading

Beautiful to look at and a real conversation piece, but the individual pieces - especially the soup spoon - are smaller than they look and certainly smaller than what we are used to in the US. Also, while perhaps a small point, I did not know they were made in China as opposed to Denmark. I am not happy about that.

Love these!

They were a housewarming gift to my son in FL. He grew up with them as a kid when they were our only silverware . I picked them for my Bridal Registry from the Peasant Shop in Philadelphia in 1969.

Fabulous Classic Design

I have owned Arne Jacobsen flatware since the 1970's and have never waned in my love of it. A few years back I ordered a few place settings through Amazon. They were clearly "knock-offs," produced in China. MOMA's flatware is from Denmark, the real thing and beautifully packaged.
