Real wood!

We purchased 2. I loved that they are real wood. It took about 90 minutes to put together each one. When placing the screws in place you need to make sure they are straight so they match up properly when connecting the pieces. The wood is soft so be take care not to over tighten or the wood will split. I took my time when connecting the pieces and the cam locks went right in and tightened right up. They look beautiful in my living room.

Too bad I cannot return it.

It smells badly. I tried to return but nobody picked up the phone during the weekend (it took a while for me to find the number to call). So I decided to keep it to use in my porch for shoes, umbrellas and packages --- it is kind of too big and too expensive for such purposes. It took me about 3 hours to install it. maybe it is just me being clumsy trying to line up all of the 9 holes to the hardware, and then 12 holes to the hardware. Or maybe it is just nature of the beast being a 9 compartment bookcase, but the design could certainly be improved). any during the installation, I struggled literally and caused some scratches. The only nice part of the furniture is that it looks rather nice from a distance hahaha

Terrible Product- Not real wood

Trying to put this together is terrible. It’s far from real wood they claim to. avoid at all cost! The quality of this bookcase the price should be less than IKEA.

Easy to put The for one person. Great paint job on the wood book case. Matches my modern tv stand and holds a lot of books, Even the husband liked it. Would by again.

Sturdy, Beautiful!

Well made piece of furniture. Sturdy and beautiful. Takes 2 to assemble. Using a waste high solid surface will save your back.

Like the product, but ....

Like the texture and color, but I thought it was pretty difficult to assemble.

High gloss white lacquer beautifully constructed bookcase. An enhanced piece of furniture for my living room to store books, magazines, folders, vases etc. Put it together myself being experienced in assembling various pieces of furniture. Had some difficulty at both ends of bookcase fitting the end into slot for it. Also the inner boards have dowels that attach into a slot but they needed to be adjusted. Also screw bolts that attach to boards then need to be inserted into top board frame of bookcase and took some maneuvering to do so. I used Phillips screw driver, a metal mail opener and a rubber mallot (hammer) to pound in the frame and boards that attached to top board frame of bookcase. Also used Allen key which was included an L shaped metal tool. When attaching back panels to bookcase need to be careful when screwing in screws so they go into solid wood and don't protrude into shelf and split or put hole in it. Happened on 2 of my screws on front left panel even though I carefully lined up all the panels. Be patient always read directions and use what you have to assist in assembling furniture. You can do it, just give it a try and ask for help if needed. I am happy with finished bookcase and look forward to using and

Very sturdy and nice quality and was inexpensive for being wood! The grey color has a bit more of a green tint than I was expecting but looks very nice!

The bookcase is sturdy but in putting it together when the dowels were placed in two instances chunks of the wood shelf popped off leaving unfiniished spots. These had to be sanded in order to put back to fill the holes they left. I chose to keep the cabinet rather than return it as I’m using inserts that cover these spots. The cabinet also had a strong odor that took days to dissipate.
