Overall it's well made, but something about the back doesn't work for me. The upper back is further forward than the lower back, so there's not much lumbar support and it can get uncomfortable after an hour or so
Just what everyone else says! A perfect lil chair. Great looking, comfy, easy to assemble, smooth operations! I ordered the blue its not as muted in person as it is in the photos, so the color is great!
Love this chair!
Better than my last chair.
I've had this chair for over a year and a half, and have used it for at least 2 hours every day. The seat cushion has for the most part has continued to stay comfortable. The only issues I've had since is that the hydraulic very slowly will start to go down over time. The biggest issue I've had is that the wood around the bolt insert may have cracked so it is now pretty squeaky.
I was so disappointed with this chair. It is very uncomfortable to sit in for the day. I got this specifically for the cushion, thinking it would be better from a mattress company, but the cushion falls flat instantly and doesn’t offer any support. It’s not ergonomic, it’s not functional, it’s not comfortable. And every time I sit in it, it starts to roll away. Overall it looks cute but I’ve been regretting it since day one and can’t wait until I can get something else.
It looks really nice! Was easy to assemble and is fairly comfortable! I have had this for 3 years now and have used it extensively during the pandemic, with no issues. It’s probably not as comfortable as some ergonomic office chairs but works fine for me. I like to sit cross cross at times or pull my legs up and the width of the seat allows for that.
This chair has a nice look and size is great for me (I am 5ft 5). That seat cushion however, is a major disappointment and has already lost it's cushion after just 2 weeks. I am not a large or heavy person and literally the seat cushion is almost completely flat. Now feeling as though I have backpain and am uncomfortable. I bought because of the Serta seat cushion.......beware before buying for comfort.
My teen daughter picked this out for her desk in the lilac color. Very hip, pinkish color. It is very comfortable and substantial for an office chair without being enormous (you can still push it in under a desk and it won't take up too much room). The stitching was fine, I was nervous after reading other reviews. Not the highest quality sewing, but fine for this purpose. Will buy another for my older son who also found it comfortable (he's 5'7"). The back is short, but I think that's fine for a task chair.
LOVE the chair. It's suuuuuuuper comfy, rolls well, fits my space perfectly. The back height is really nice; I can roll it under my desk when I raise it to a standing desk.
I’ve had this chair for quite a while now, and while it is comfortable, I took a couple stars off for a couple of reasons 1- The cushion is not very cushiony (for lack of a better way to put that). I would expect it to be a little sturdier in the phone for a Serta product. 2- The hydraulics are not very strong, and I have to re-raise it all the time, even though I didn’t actually lower it. So that’s kind of annoying.

Quick facts
What's important to look for in an ergonomic office chair?
Adjustability in height, lumbar support, armrests, and seat depth are key features to look for to ensure comfort and support.
How often should I replace my office chair?
Quality office chairs can last 7-10 years. Replace when wear affects comfort or if the chair no longer supports proper posture.
Can the material of an office chair impact comfort?
Yes, breathable materials like mesh offer comfort for long hours, while leather can provide durability and a classic look.
What are the ergonomic considerations for a home office desk and chair?
The desk height should be approximately 30 inches (76 cm), with enough space under the desk for your legs — at least 24 inches (61 cm) for a desk chair with legs. For a chair with castors, a clearance space of 28 inches (71 cm) from the desk's edge is recommended.
How much space is required for a comfortable desk chair?
A chair with legs needs around 28 inches (71 cm) from the nearest desk edge, while a swivel chair requires more space due to its mobility.
What is the ergonomic height for a desk chair?
The seat of a desk chair should be about 18 inches (46 cm) high, with adjustable armrests for lateral and height movement.
What are the key measurements for ergonomic furniture design?
Work surfaces should be about 36 inches (91 cm) high, with at least 8 inches (20 cm) of legroom under the work surface, and office chairs should provide 28 inches (71 cm) of space for legroom.
What ergonomic principles should I follow when setting up my home?
Furniture should match the user's body type, with work surfaces at a comfortable height (usually 36 inches for kitchen counters) and seating that supports a relaxed posture.
What are some effective ways to clean and maintain my furniture and rugs?
Use sticky lint rollers for picking up small debris, wet wipes for mark removal, and thin stockings over vacuum nozzles to clean hard-to-reach areas like LEGO pieces.
