Two time loser

The first kennel was broken. The plastic is very brittle. The replacement was shipped properly. Appeared in great condition but the holes for the gate did not match up. As always Chewy representatives happily offered another replacement or refund.

Disappointed

Haven't had this crate for even a month and my dog was able to chew threw the side openings and get out. We have a 45lb hound mix that we used this for and we had only used it a handful of times in the less than a month that we have had it. It may work for smaller dogs but definitely didn't work for us and now we are out money and have to find another crate.

Beware Photo not correct

The photo on the FF website is not correct. There are no air holes on the back panel. I returned it for this reason. Need to have correct air holes. They could not find me in the loyalty system even tho I am in it and have been for many yrs., so I only got back 61.00 instead of the 100.00 plus that I paid for it. Not right. Should have looked harder. The barcode was on the crate returned.

Great

I had bought a 32” crate before and it had issues with the door not fitting in the pre cut holes, but this 36” crate is perfectly fine and works great! Hopefully the company ironed out the kinks with the smaller crate as well.

Poorly made

It is made of thin plastic and the doors bend easily on larger sizes. The second time my dog was in the large size, he bent the bottom peg on the door making it easy to pop out of the hole. He also chewed through the front below the door within 3 weeks.

Super poor customer service & web page

Purchased 6/13/24, made sure it was in-stock & small enough so it wouldn't motor freight. I understood this was past there cut off time, so I figured it would be processed on 6/14/24. I needed it for any emergency travel, which I paid for second day air. Because none in any local stores the size I needed. Reached out to customer service email 2-5 to reply, called direct. for the automated system to just kick you off asking for you to leave a message, after it said next customer service representative would only be two minutes out. To finally getting an email saying my order was shipping on 6/18/24 well my packing slip was generated on 6/18/24.

Not only do I work for one of the best family and customers focused company's, I also do most of my shopping there! Great quality products and reasonable prices! I would shop at Runninings, even if I didn't work there!

Disappointed

The crate itself is ok but the door doesn’t fit right. The top bar doesn’t line up with the top hole. It won’t latch closed. The bottom will close but you really have to push to get it to close. Good thing we don’t have an escape artist. Would have been 5 stars if the door was right.

[Rewarded Review] Sturdy

We bought this kennel for our 116# German shepherd, who destroyed her previous kennel. Easy setup, perfect size (xl), and sturdy. Unfortunately, Houdini was able to bend the door back and sneak out ONE time, but evidence shows it wasn't without extreme difficulty. I would purchase this again.

Do not buy!

Do not buy! Very low quality for a large dog. Our dog first broke the lock and then chewed through the top of this kennel. He was a puppy at the time. However we a version of this exact kennel for our previous dog, used it for TEN years and it is again being used for our current dog with no issues.

We got a growing puppy needed something large and safe. Perfect solution plenty of room great price the durability is perfect for our needs. Wonderful dog crate as long as you don’t have a super aggressive dog. This is perfect.

Top notch dog kennel

Excellent dog kennel/crate, easy to assemble and relatively lightweight, but strong. Came with extra fasteners for the top and bottom sections, which I have put aside for possible future use. Also has nice hand hold areas underneath the rim on both sides of the kennel for carrying/lifting.

Very disappointed

I guess I can give this crate 2 stars because it works, but the fit and finish are horrible. The gray top is mottled with white areas, edges are sharp enough to cut skin, and the molding process left large amounts of plastic debris attached to the crate. On the bright side, the manufacturer was able to squeeze an extra penny of profit out of the crate by attaching a cheap label that left glue debris behind upon removal; I spent 15 minutes removing that. I'd send this product back if I didn't need it right away.

Travel kennel

Nice and sturdy little crate for your pet, bought mine to use for a road trip with my furry friend, a 15 lb dachshund mix. I put one of his blankets in the bottom and he took to it right away and willingly went in to sleep at night. Glad I purchased as the price was well below what other pet stores were asking for similar items. Would recommend to those looking!

Better than expected

This crate is perfect. It's sturdy and solidly built, but is lighty enough to carry up and down stairs. It actually looks nice, which is a bonus. Our puppy took to it the first time he went. Great price, which is important because he's a large breed and growing fast, and we'll go through two, if not all three sizes. Would recommend to anyone.

Good size for my doodle

I got the 32”. It is a good size for my medium size doodle. Only disappointment is the color. It is much darker than the photo. It’s a dark charcoal grey and black. Only had for a few weeks but is holding up fine so far.

Very happy

Terrific product. Just right size for my 14 week old black lab male pup who is growing fast. He will probably outgrow it in a few months but I like the size for him now. It’s so much cozier than a metal grate style crate and I think it is noticed by him and he seems very happy to get into it for the night. Because it’s so light it is easy to move around. Super easy to assemble.

The BEST Crate!

This was the best investment for our dog. The crate was super easy to put together. The dog loves! She went right in laid down and went to sleep the first week it was in the house. The crate is sturdy and very light weight. Easy to get in and out of both the car and the truck and a wonderful crate to transport the dog in. Totally recommend it!

Great Crate !!

I was a little confused when I first read the description of the crate. It read "x small" but it also said 27x20x20 to me that was a Medium. You should order by the dimensions not by small,med or large. So I called CS and they were very helpful. The size is correct and it is perfect for my Terrier. Not too big and not too small. Very sturdy, easy to put together and plenty of light come thru for your pet. Inside dimensions are smaller than outside but not by much.Hope this helps you with your purchase. I feel this is a quality product and should be happy with it. If you have a dog that is very destructive maybe you should consider a all metal crate.
