Great Quality
I am very impressed by the quality of this pot. Food don’t stick to the bottom, handles on both, pan and lid will stay cool during cooking. Definitely worth the price. Planning on changing all of my pots and pans to Demeyere brand.
Special gift for my daughter
I've had this pot for several years. I use it a lot for making soups, pasta sauce, and stews and boiling pasta. I have an 8 quart stock pot that I use occasionally for large quantities, but this 5.5 quart pot is what I use most of the time. I like that it isn't so deep that it is hard to scoop the contents out and also it heats up more quickly than the other pot I own. Also the multiple ply bottom prevents food from burning or sticking to it. In fact, I think so highly of this pot that I bought this new one as a special birthday gift for my daughter, who is an excellent cook. I told her she would love it for the rest of her life. It is heavy, so my only warning is that if you have trouble lifting things, this pot may be too heavy for you.
This is the most FABULOUS piece of cookware we own!! We most definitely will be back to finish the set!

Absolute perfection. I've owned and used a LOT of different cookware over the years. Like a lot of people, I have gradually upgraded over the years. At this point, I use Le Creuset and Lodge most frequently (and am very happy with both), but stainless steel is better for some things that I cook. I researched the other stainless steel options, and I do already own a couple of All-Clad & Demeyere Industry pieces too. However, I heard great things about the Demeyere Atlantis line, so I ordered this 5.5qt dutch oven (on sale!) to give the Atlantis line a try. I have not been disappointed! The heat distribution in the Demeyere Atlantis is next level. It can't be beat. And, as long as you preheat the pot and then use some oil or butter, there is little to no sticking of anything. Clean up is very easy. The only very small downside is that the bottom is so thick, the Atlantis line is slightly less responsive than my thinner All-Clad and Demeyere Industry. It's not a deal breaker for me, as I am just a little more vigilant in watching the food and adjusting the temp (like I do when I cook with my cast iron). And quite honestly, the evenness of the heat distribution more than makes up for it. I was pretty impressed that, despite cooking on a pretty inexpensive GE electric range, my food was cooking just as well as on a higher end stove top/range. I had been considering upgrading my GE range, but I don't think it's necessary anymore.

Sent me the wrong item, a Demeyere dutch oven from a lesser product line. Contacted customer service who said they would get the correct item sent out and return instructions for what I had received. It never arrived and I contacted them again and they said they would refund 25% in 3-5 business days if I just accepted the one I got. This time has now also passed.
Beautiful work of art

[Rewarded Review] Best ever!!!
I’ve been wanting to get a good quality, family size Dutch oven and was debating between Le Creuset and Demeyere 5.5 qt. I decided to go for Demeyere and I’m so glad I did. I have other Demeyere products and I love them all. I’ve owned a few different cookware sets that are as expensive as Demeyere, but Demeyere is far better than any cookware I’ve ever owned!! I LOVE LOVE how they’re rivetless!
[Rewarded Review] Perfectly flat bottom. Great heating.
Perfectly flat bottom. Even heating. Great heat conduction. I like it.
Love this beautiful large pot! New favorite!
I am so happy I bought this pot! Lighter, and larger, than my Le Creuset (with a 28 on the bottom- I think that is 7.25 quarts?) Cooked Coq au Vin in it, very large surface area for browning the chicken - 6 full legs fit and no overlapping. Cleans up like a dream. I am slowly converting my cookware over to Demeyere everything!
