Disappointing product

I suppose you get what you pay for, but I was fairly disappointed with this product. The installation instructions were minimal, but that's okay (if you've installed lighting before). My biggest complaint is the lack of a screw in the kit to connect the cross bar to the junction box mounting bar. In some kits they are threaded together, others include a screw. This one had neither. Fortunately I have a box of extra screws in the garage. If you were doing this for the first time, you'd be stuck. I was also concerned with how thin the glass is on the light globes. They obviously felt very light and thin; I was concerned that if they tapped against anything while I was installing them, they would break.

It was a nice fixture that I could not use. The outlet box for my bathroom vanity was not centered and when I installed the light fixture in that offset position it really looked weird. I had to switch to a fixture with a wide base so that it could be installed centered on the vanity, I would buy this fixture again for a "normal" application.

This light is a bit flimsy, but for the price it looks very nice on the wall. Since this is a product that doesn’t require durability of contact use it should be fine. The five lights are very bright when using 60 watt bulbs. This fixture could be mounted facing upward and still give off plenty of light. I would recommend this light fixture.

We tried to use this but it didn’t fit the quirky space above the bathroom mirror in the house we were renovating. Too bad because it was beautiful and priced so well for the quality. We were able to use the 1 light Aubrey in another space. I would recommend this fixture.

I needed two for my bathroom to replace some for separate vanities. The lights are beautiful, I have them facing up, and they bring your eyes up to the beautiful trim on the tall walls and ceiling. The old ones were pointing down. This is a dramatic difference. The room even looks larger.

Lack of quality control when item was packed & shipped as it took 3 times for me to finally get a fixture that was only slightly bent. 1st shipment -extremely bent. 2nd shipment extremely bent. 3rd shipment slightly bent. Packing was good so sent defective.

Very pleased

I am very pleased with this fixture. The light can be installed with the lights turned up or down. My vanity is 70 inches long, this fixture is a perfect size. I like this fixture so much, I'm ordering another one to go in our guest bath.

Absolutely Love This Light!

After making some changes in the bathroom (shower doors, faucets) installing this light fixture to replace my bubble lights (shudder) was the thing that finished off the total transformation of an outdated bathroom to a modern and fresh new look. The brushed nickel is perfect because it minimizes spots and the cylindrical glass shades are frosted and add to the overall modern appearance.

Typical Easy Install; Point up or down

If you've ever installed lighting, this follows your basic three wires and screw into electrical box install. I was replacing the ugly builder-grade Hollywood lights over my bathroom vanity. Removed the Hollywood lights, patched the wall (still need to sand and paint, as you can see from my pictures!), then used the current electrical box and hooked up the three wires with the included electrical caps.

Guess I got a bad one..

Middle socket defective. Many of the lamp bases were slightly crooked, not flat, not parallel. I couldn't 'persuade' them back to being straight. Had to take back. Waste of 2 hours of time between installing, uninstalling, and returning.

Looks great anywhere

I ordered this product to upgraded my wife's vanity area. This vanity light is very stylish and provides lots of light. One thing I did notice is that it can be assembled right side or upside down. I decided to put it with the lights facing upward as I placed a mirror right above it to provide even more light and it worked like a charm. I put the mirror up after I installed the lamp and boy did it make a HUGE difference. Not only does it really light everything up, the wife loves it, and that's enough for me. Great product, Love it.
