Lovely Rug

This is a lovely rug. The pattern and color are more vibrant than those displayed online. I think it looks better in person than in the photo I posted. I knocked off a star because there are some areas where the weaving is frayed, and some of the black threads peak through. I can't complain too much because this was an inexpensive rug. The rug needs a rug pad to keep it from slipping, and I wouldn't recommend it in high-traffic areas or if you have dogs due to the weaving. I have this in our guest room hallway, and it has been holding up well with limited traffic. I did have to snip off some frayed threads when first received, and it took about three weeks to lay flat completely.

I had been looking for rugs with the colors black and cream. Found these got them and loved them. I ordered a different size a couple days later.

Great Runner Rug

Love it. Perfect as kitchen runner. Nice quality. Get a rug pad so it doesn't slide around.

The best thing about this product is the quality. Safavieh can be hit or miss but this one is definitely beautiful and appears handcrafted. There is no smell to this rug and lays fairly flat on the first unroll. However, please keep in mind this rug is LIKE A BLANKET. It performs like a blanket in that you can stretch the fabric so be sure to pull tightly before placing furniture on it. It’s worth the money to have this quality rug.
