Relief from acid reflux

I need to sleep with my bed elevated due to my acid reflux. This whole body elevation suits me way better than just the shoulders and head wedge pillow. I am very pleased, AND well rested.

My wife and I both had issues with evening acid re-flux. My wife takes medicine that makes her re-flux so bad she has been sleeping in a recliner. I ordered King Size 7" high mattress elevator, unpacked it immediately. Installed it the 3rd day after it arrived. She has had only one night that she had to get up part of the night. Thank you for making our life much better.

Perfect for a guy with acid reflux. He hasn't complained since he got this. Also seems to prevent snoring. Hugh quality cushion. Comfortable incline-no even noticeable when in bed.

My husband and I are both very impressed with the foam wedge mattress. We both have Gerd symptoms and my doctor recommended a wedge foam mattress as part of my treatment.

I can sleep again!!

Wow o' Wow!!! I haven't slept well in years and at 56 (female) I've begun snoring and having my oxygen levels dropping at night. I was finding myself grabbing the wedge pillows more and more often, but sleeping bent in half was messing up my back. I decided there was nothing to lose by trying the mattress elevator and it turned out to be the best purchase I've ever made. I went from sleeping and average of 5 hours to a full 8. I used to lay awake for hours waiting to fall asleep and now I'm asleep within minutes of getting into bed.

Foam is strong enough for a thick and heavy mattress.

It ended up being 6.5" tall instead of 7" but its still fine for me. It is surprisingly strong. My mattress is 12" thick and heavy. The foam has not been squished.

Sleeping at a bit of an incline seemed like a good idea and have to say putting these under a king size mattress is wonderful - was going to add a photo but soon realized I’m no photographer.

Avana 7 inch elevator is recommended

My 7 inch elevator never got above 6.5 inches at the head of the bed, and I had to untuck the protective cover to allow it to reach the higher elevation. It would never have been possible to have it expand with that cover on it. I have to scoot up several times during the night and pull up the covers, but my regurgitation is much better. The product works.

Gentle incline

This seems to work quite well for me. It requires quite a bit of room initially to install, and the covers I also purchased were several inches too small. I returned them easily for a speedy refund. I used an old fitted sheet to cover the wedges and that worked well. I would recommend the bed wedge but not the covers…. Use an old sheet instead!

Preferred alternative to raising the whole bed.

I've struggled with acid reflux

I've struggled with acid reflux disease (GERD) for over fifteen years and have taken Nexium, then the generic Esomaprazole over all those years. I had no idea that a 4" lift at the head of the bed would help with minimizing the miserable symptoms of acid reflux. But, after reading Avana's reviews, I took a chance and ordered an under mattress incline elevator. I have been using it now for over two months and have not had a single bout of acid reflux. I phased out taking Esomaprazole in the first weeks and have stopped taking it completely about a month ago. I realize that everyone is different, but I highly recommend that anyone with acid reflux get an under mattress incline elevator. I was very surprised that a small 4" lift could be so extremely effective.
