Mine lasted 9 years.

I bought the predecessor to this model in 2014 and mine just stopped cooling. Nine years is not too bad. I'll probably buy the same one again.

Very Very Lound

I have had this in my house for a little over a year and finally my wife forced me to unplug it because of how loud it is. I called and was told this is normal and there was nothing that could be done. I have the beverage center sitting next to it and it is very quiet. Do not buy

Quit working in 11 months, warranty "expired"

Buyer beware. Avanti warranties product 12 months from the date of purchase. We purchased this product, it was back ordered a month, then had to sit in our house in the box while we were waiting for the construction of our new kitchen to be finished, about 6 months later. It worked fine for - I'm not kidding - 11 months. Then it just stopped cooling. Avanti would only give me the phone number for the authorized dealer. This warranty was probably stated somewhere, but bottom line, it quit working very quickly. DO NOT BUY.

So Far So Good

Couldn't find many reviews on Avanti wine coolers, but took a chance. The unit looks good and is quiet. Seems to cool well. It was delivered in good condition. Do check your height clearance carefully. I was cutting into an island wall under a granite countertop. I didn't expect to find decking under the granite and had to cut it out to barely have enough room. I thought I saw somewhere that this cooler had full extension shelves, but the only slide out half way. I probably saw a different model. My mistake. The few other reviews I found mention problems with failures 2 or 3 years later, so we'll see if that happens. But so far I am happy.

Don't buy

Unit lasted 5 years - no longer keeps cool - cannot find anyone to repair it - manufacturer was of no help in finding parts or someone to repair the unit.
