I think at this price it should have an internal light, and should come with the inline filter. Ice sheets are terrible to try and scoop.... is there an option to make the ice thinner? Also can we buy the drain pump for this unit. MIM50V

Was a little dented in the back from shipping. Didn't cool or make ice. Now waiting to hear back about technician services.

It definitely keeps up with this family of six; however, it is VERY NOISY, and I can't figure out why it runs to the point of freezing up sometimes.

Maxx under counter ice maker

The ice maker makes a lot of ice. There is less melting of the ice than our old ice maker. It would be nice if there was a light in the machine. Shipping was 6 days earlier than expected, and it was delivered to or door and placed in the garage by the carrier.

Nice Ice machine, but no built in drain pump.

Great Price for what you get. Things to know: 1) Makes plenty of clear ice 2) Does not include a drain pump so must buy condensate pump if you can't connect via gravity (drain output is only 4-5" off the bottom of unit) 3) Some of the similar more expensive models come with built in pump 4) I had some minor shipping damage that Lowe's was very helpful with 5) No built in holder for ice scoop 6) I'm using this outside in a covered area, I'll update if I have any problems.

I would not buy this

Ice mostly comes out in sheets and isn't cut into cubes. It is very loud when it's runnimg.

This ice maker is fantastic. It produces 50lbs of ice in record time.

Great product, great value and arrived quickly! We had to get a plumber to install to our water line, but it was affordable and quick. It needs to be raised above ground for water drainage too. Fits perfectly next to our garage sink. This is awesome for my fishing boyfriend. He fills his coolers every morning with this ice and when he comes back he can fill it again. I’d say it actually produces more than 50lbs of ice a day. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great ice machine for the price. The only complaint I have is that it dumps the cubes out in one big block so you have to break them apart.

A bit noisy, but husband doesn’t seem to mind.

Performs exactly as advertised. Nice clear ice. Fills up and shuts off. Yes the ice cubes come out as a sheet but no big deal to break up. Cube size could be just a little larger but for what this costs I really can’t complain
