The kegerator came in damaged for the 2nd time. The control panel was laying in the bottom of the unit. The top hinge and door was damaged. The bottom plate was bent up so it wouldn’t sit flat.

Does not get cold

I am very disappointed in this Kegerator. The reviews that state this kegerator does not get cold enough are accurate. I should have listened. You are rolling the dice on this purchase. Don't risk the hassle of a return and go with a different product that does not have this potential issue. This kegerator is getting returned.

Great product

Loved this thing. Bought for my son in law. Had it in my garage for a couple weeks before i gave it to him. You know, i had to make sure it worked. Will order another one for myself soon.

basically crushed

It arrived with massive dents and the top was torn off. The cardboard box literally fell off of the backage once I cut the plastic straps. HORRIBLE delivery effort. Its almost like they just threw the thing out of the truck while it was still rolling. They only allow one pic but I’ve got plenty.

Great Kegerator

For the price I really think it’s a steal. Gets the job done. No need for overpriced kegerators. If you want something nice and gets the job done, this is the kegerator for you!!!

Not happy with this unit. Works ok, better instructions for washer ID would help. Although it has an adjustable temperature control, it never cooled below 39 degrees. Very disappointed, would return if I had kept the box.

Perfect gift for the beer drinker

Purchased as Christmas present for hubby! He absolutely loves it, no more last minute trips to store for beer. Now his beer runs consist of getting cold mug from freezer to walking across kitchen to the kegerator. We used it during Super Bowl, it was a big hit.

Great compact kegerator

We purchased this for our bar area and wanted something that looked good but was compact. This unit so far has been great. It keeps the beer cold and we are able to change CO2 easily to adjust foam/dispensing. Have had it for three months and have no complaints! It is also very quiet which is great.

Easy Installation

This kegerator came ready to go out of the box. Quick and easy installation following the provided instructions. Got the C02 tank filled up at a local paintball store and there are planty of 1/6th kegs available at my local Total Wine store. The lowest I've been able to get the kegerator to is 36 degree which is fine for me, but some may like it colder. It has been installed for 2 months now with no leaks in C02, refrigerant, or beer. Would buy again or refer another.

Purchased this as a Fathers Dayhousewarming gift for my boyfriend. The box was a bit beat up when it arrived. About a week later when he opened it I noticed the back was bent up. We plugged it in and it works. Just disappointing the back is all beat up especially when you are spending good money on the products. I believe this happened in transport and not Wayfair fault.

Dissatisfied

First thing was the guard in the kegerator was broke on the bottom. Once hooked up and running for almost a week it wont cool lower then 38dg at least thats what it says. Put a quart of water in and check the temperature holding around 40dg. Also having trouble with the regulator wont hold the proper co2 pressure! Tryed to get in contact with them they were close will try again. Very disappointing!!!! The only thing I can say it looks nice and easy to set up.

Works great. Cheap quality but it's a cheap price so you get what you pay for.

It's rather cheaply built but what can you expect for the price. All and all it works and does its job. Everything went together well. One of the hose clamps arrived broken but my brewing shop had an extra. It was pretty dented and beat up due to the box being obliterated (maybe due to carrier mishandling?)

EdgeStar Kegerator 18 in

I love it! It was a replacement for my old kegerator and it is outstanding. The slim size and clean look even got my wife’s approval! I only use the 5 gal Cornelius keg and there is no need for a larger unit. The temperature control inside the front is an add bonus; no more going to the back to make adjustments. The digital display takes the guess work out of temperature control. The reversible door worked great next to our wine cooler configuration. Definitely much better quality than most other units out there, great value for the price.

Great value, but small quality issues

The unit looks very nice, works well, is relatively easy to hook up, and arrived quickly. The hose clamp for the CO2 line was too short to connect. Not sure why it couldn't have been another quarter of an inch long. Luckily I had one on hand that I could use. The ground on the outlet also broke off. It's essentially a hollow metal tube that isn't as substantial or as connected as a typical ground like you would see on an extension cord. I doubt that addressing these two issues in manufacture would have added much cost.

Do Not Buy If You Intend To Drink Non-Craft Domestic Beer

I bought this for my wife, who is a die-hard Miller Lite/Coors Lite fan. Found out after-the-fact that neither brews are available in the 5 gal kegs and there's absolutely no room to go with any larger kegs used by Miller & Coors. I would have gladly spent more money for a larger unit had I known of this limitation. Now stuck buying Michelob Ultra or Bud, which my wife really doesn't care for. It does cool to 34 degrees if there's no keg inside but 39 is the lowest it goes with a keg inside.

Buyer Beware: Not A Perfect Fit

This product is advertised as having capacity for a single Sixth Barrel Keg or Cornelius Keg, but be advised that many craft breweries now regularly use disposable alternatives such as Rehrig's "PubKegs" for their Sixth Barrel Kegs as opposed to the traditional stainless steel solution. Whereas a stainless steel Sixth Barrel Keg is about 9¼'' in diameter, a PubKeg is about 11'' in diameter. I've purchased kegs from several different craft breweries in the NY/NJ area over the last two years and all Sixth Barrel Kegs have been PubKegs. Although you can fit a PubKeg into this kegerator, it's a very tight fit and the door will pop open unless you use the door lock (I've verified that the unit is leveled, so that's not the issue). Luckily the door gasket appears to be fully sealed, even though the top of the door protrudes out slightly.

KC-1000SS 5 gallon craft brew kegerator

Bought this kegerator on 9-3-16. Have used 3 kegs on it already. No problems mechanically whatsoever! Had to experiment with the CO2 pressure and found that 6-8 psi worked best for me. Also; clean your beer lines, faucet, and coupler after every keg. Your beer will like it and taste much better. I live in Colorado and there are over 200 craft breweries; therefore I have a hard time choosing which beer to buy. Whichever beer I buy always taste better from the keg than from a can or a bottle. Another thing: It is cheaper by the keg!!! Did some simple arithmetic and found out it is about half the price compared to cans or bottles. Get one. You won't be disappointed.

What I was looking for

The 5 Gallon Kegerator was what I was looking for and fits the bill for being able to have great draft beer at home. This is a 5 star purchase but home keg novices like me should be warned that the tap included here is of the single round hole in the top variety that is the standard on any keg you purchase from any local brewery and such.

Nice, Compact, Fully Functional

Great unit. Chills and pours my favorite craft brew. I'll probably break even on this unit in about 18 months - with keg price savings.
