The good, the bad and the ugly.

I liked the lock-open feature on the lid for peeling veggies, etc. I disliked that the unit was advertised as a 13 gallon can but standard 13 gallon Costco bags required two people to stretch the bag to fit in the 12.7 gallon frame. We had recently purchased a large quantity of Kirkland bags. We returned the trash can. Very disappointed in Rubbermaid.

This is going to be a great trash can for my kitchen. First of all, the grey color looks great and will fit in many decors. Second, it is just the right size and doesn't overwhelm the space. The dark grey silver finish on the trim and on the foot pedal resists fingerprints and stains, so it is easy to keep looking nice. Capacity should easily handle about a week's worth of trash in our house. A nice feature is its soft close lid.
