Very quiet compared to the former last two food grinders each being 1/3 horsepower and lasting basically 3 to 4 years each. It is larger in width and slightly taller than previous food grinders with only having to cut 2 inches of the exit drain pipe because of width. Other than that, it was an easy installation. In my 22 years living in this house, this is my fourth and hoping the last food grinder needed to be exchange out. This food grinder with 1 and 1/4 horsepower came with 12 years warranty, looking forward not having to exchange out a food grinder for years down the road. PS.. Be careful lifting box by the slotted hand holes on side, food grinder will fall through from bottom of the box from the weight and weak box construction on bottom of carton. Grab from the bottom of box and do not lift by slotted hand holes on the side of the carton.

The product was easy to install thanks to detailed instructions including precise illustrations. The product works very well and is relatively quiet in spite of its higher than average power.

I have had this garbage disposal about 6 weeks. I am 74 yrs old so I had a plumber install.

Highly rated in Consumer Reports. Been in service for about two weeks now, Very quiet and does a fantastic job. We haven't put it to a real test because we don't grind up bones and corn cobbs.

Its quiet and seems to handle everything we throw down the drain.The new cover seems to hold water and debris more than our old one so we have to push lots of it manually into the disposal.

Powerful, but might be overkill. Because of the way disposals work (using spinning motion to throw debris up against a chamber wall that works like a cheese grater to shred waste) extra power is largely wasted. The unit itself is therefore larger than it needs to be. But, no matter. The product itself is of good quality and I got what I bought.

Quiet disposal

This is the best garbage disposal I’ve had in 20 years. This is the third one I’ve had since I moved in my home 20 years ago and it’s so quiet and takes care of anything I push down in it. I would recommend you replace yours if it’s loud. You can hardly hear this one

Very powerful and great product! Best disposer I ever had. Easy to install and every bit worth the price. 1.25 HP handles food particles with ease.

I can’t comment on this since it was 3 weeks late being delivered and I had to buy a different disposal.

I tried to register this product, but this website's registration page does not recognize the model. Trying to get user help (installation instructions) recognizes the model, but it then only tells me to register the product. Choosing Chat or Text under support gets no response.
