Slow Shipping by HD - 8 Days to move 8 Miles

I live in San Diego. Ordered and tracking showed that this filter system was originating in San Diego. Over the next 8 days, tracking showed that the filter moved several times within San Diego. Based on phone call, it appears that it took 8 days to move 8 miles. That's pathetic customer service. Do not order from Home Depot if your current filter is out of service, as your pool will be turning green while Home Depot completely fails on delivery.

Worst Customer Service Ever

Not sure where to start. I received a text saying Rene with Leslie’s pools was on his way for the install. I met him out front of the house and told him he could park in the driveway in case he needed a safer place to work. He was very upset and demanded to know when this install was scheduled. I told him over the past several days. He then made several snide comments about the distance to the existing filter. When I confronted him on his rudeness, he made a few more sarcastic responses and said he needed to go pick up the new filter and left. After an hour plus of waiting, I called the store and he never went to pick it up. He just left. I drove to the store and picked up my filter. Leslie’s rescheduled for the following week. Very strange encounter and would have a difficult time recommending Leslie’s in the future.

We just installed this filter and it has so far worked fine.

My old filter set was 15 years old and it's night and day now. Cleans the water way faster.

New filter. Seems to perform well at this stage.

Filter replaced 40 YO Hayward DE filter. Seems to be functioning properly but the pressure gage does not register. Spoke to Doheny tech support and they sent a new gage. Gage arrived recently and has not yet been installed.

I ordered a tan one that is shown. But received a black one.

After switching from a sand filter to this cartridge filter, we could hardly believe how much clearer our pool water became. This system should be much easier to maintain by just cleaning or replacing the cartridges instead of trying to dump and replace the sand from the narrow opening in the sand filter we were using. The look of this filter is also a nice improvement because the piping is lower and less noticeable. A great product! Thank You!

The filter is well designed. I installed it yesterday. It works fine. However the people who assemble the product DID A VERY POOR JOB. One of the o-ring were so poorly installed and 2 parts are missing. I call the dealer. The dealer has been very helpful. They offered to replace the filter with a brand new one, the replacement come in a brand new unopened box ! This time I have a filter with 2 poorly installed o-rings ! and one missing part !
