Cute dish

I don't use bar soap but thought that this could be a cute trinket dish for my jewelry. Also, it is flat on top unlike soap dishes that are somewhat shallow to hold the bar of soap.I love Spode pieces and this one is very cute.

Not sure if this is an official Spode product.

This items does not appear to be an authentic Spode product. There is no Spode logo/seal imprinted on the bottom of the dish and it did not come in a Spode product box. I've purchased many Spode Christmas products over the years and they've had the Spode seal imprinted on the product itself and have always come in official Spode product boxes. There is only a product sticker and a sticker that says "hand painted" on the bottom. The dish also does not appear to be made from Spode porcelain and the Christmas tree image is poor quality, low resolution. See images. I'm surprised Macy's is selling this item, as the authenticity is questionable.
