[Rewarded Review] Nice large frying pan

This is my first time using such a large frying pan but it's surprisingly not as heavy as it looks! I love that it comes with a lid. The 12 inch size is great when cooking for the family. It's easy to handle and easy to clean.

Forget the internet trending pans. Forget the expensive brands. This pan from Babish Cookware (of Binging with Babish fame) is the only skillet you will ever need. It's a try-fly stainless steel professional grade pan with a hefty lid, and you won't want to miss it. It's not "cheap" at $65, but it's well worth the price! It's amazing. Nothing sticks to it. It cleans easily. It's huge, and it's gorgeous. I am beyond thrilled with the quality of this pan!

The professional grade stainless steel pan and lid is everything I needed. I’m a major cook in my house not only for my family but all of my friends so getting this was a real treat. The seat I got on my pork chops was so perfect and made them mouth watering. My new go to pan!

Its a beautiful pan. Smooth shiny finish inside and out. Fits on the large burner of my stove perfectly. It distributes the heat quite well. Sits nice and flat. No warpage. Of course I used no higher than medium heat. My first use was bacon. It did a good job. The slices in the center of the pan cooked just a little bit faster then the outer edge ones, but not as much as in most cheaper pans. Im happy with it.

[Rewarded Review] Heavy and Huge!

I'm probably more excited about this pan than I should be. I thought the pans that I had were big, but this one is HUGE and heavy! Definitely be careful if it is full as it could be a challenge to pick up and move. I used it to make sausage gravy and it was perfect. It heated evenly, nothing burned and it cleaned up so easily. There does seem to be some discoloration on the inside of the pan, but I am not super familiar with stainless steel so I don't know if it is normal or not. It doesn't seem to affect how the pan operates though.

It is a nice big heavy pan but,,, I cooked bacon in it. The heat distribution seemed to just stay in the middle of the pan on the burner area where the bacon residue was sticking and NOT the surrounding area of the burner area. It cleaned up nice. Nice fitting metal lid.

I absolutely love this!. Its huge!. Comes with a top so that is even better. This pan can fit like a skillet in it. It's that big. Really nice construction. Very very easy to clean. Came with instructions on how to clean it also. I would 100% recommend this pan. Very nice quality

This pan is HUGE. It's about as big a pan as I would want in my kitchen - any larger and it's going to be too big to store, but this is perfect. It fits on the burner, cooks evenly, and the handle of the lid doesn't get overly hot.

[Rewarded Review] Hefty, large size is very accommodating

I am very pleased to have selected this pan. It states it is a 12 inch pan and I underestimated thinking it was 12 inch across the top. It’s actually a much larger pan than I thought. But that’s not a bad thing. It has a great deal of surface area and depth as well. So it will accommodate a very large amount of food. I love that I can place this in the oven (with limitations of course) since many pans do not allow me to do so. The lid is stainless steel as well so that can go in as well unlike a glass or acrylic lid. My first test with the pan was cooking bacon. That’s my true test. It did amazing job without sticking excessively. It also cleaned out very well another test that I measure my pans by. It clearly has quality associated with being heavy and substantial. The long handle keeps it cool while cooking, though I do wish it had a small grab handle on the opposite side. Since it is a big pan it will become very heavy and a small grab handle would be helpful. Overall I feel this is a very good quality, hefty, stainless steel, oven-friendly pan and I’m sure I will have it for many years.

Although this is my first experience with Babish cookware, I can't recommend this brand enough. Babish is the real deal. Tremendous quality well built / constructed and cooks incredible even. The bacon / sausage cooked evenly and pictures attached to show

[Rewarded Review] Nice Big Deep Pan

Love this pan! Great size with a good size lip to the pan. I like the depth for sauces and large dishes for our family of 5. The pan is also good in the oven up to 500 which I use for browning reasons. I don’t love how hot the handle can get but that’s all metal pans. It has good weight to it but not overly heavy like a cast iron.

[Rewarded Review] Exceptional skillet!

So so excited to have this fry pan in my kitchen. As someone who loves cooking and has watched many of Babish's Youtube videos, I had an inkling that his line of cookware would be quality, and not simply a money grab. It isnt the cheapest skillet you could buy, but its truly worth it. There are so many useful features that were clearly thoughtfully designed. The try ply aluminum means that it heats quickly and evenly. The stainless steel lid means that you can put the whole thing in the oven (to finish a steak for example). The shape of the handle ensures that it doesnt get too hot and gives you a secure grip. Definitely a heavier skillet, so, if you're not the strongest (like me) be prepared for a tired arm -- but the weight comes with the quality. Easy to clean. Very durable. So far looks brand new. Highly recommend!

[Rewarded Review] Great high quality pan!

This is the best frying pan I have ever owned! Never used stainless steel before due to being worried about things sticking but that is not an issue with this pan- wish I had tried one long ago! It is very high quality and very sturdy without being too heavy which is especially nice if you have arthritis or hand issues like I do-- I don't have any problems at all picking it up or moving it around. You do need to use a lower heat setting with stainless because it heats quicker and retains the heat very well and evenly. The handle does not get too hot very far up so that's a plus to be able to hold it while cooking. It is plenty big at 12 inches so you can cook a lot at one time and the lid is just as sturdy. It fits the pan perfectly and also completely seals if you want to use it that way. It's also nice to be able to use stainless/metal/wooden utensils without having to worry about damaging the pan. The pan and lid are very easy to clean with normal dish soap and water and if you did happen to have anything stick from cooking you can just let the pan soak and it will come perfectly clean. It's not a good idea to use scrub or steel wool pads because they can scratch the finish. Very very happy with this pan!

[Rewarded Review] Excellent Performance, Style, Quality

Babish 12” covered skillet is a wonderful cooking pan. It sits perfectly flat on my flat top electric stove. It feels very comfortable as it doesn’t have the extra thick plate on the bottom. It perfectly spreads the heat around the whole surface. Lovely! The handle is thick and easy to hold and lift. The cover fits perfectly on the top. I like to hang my pans and the cover slides over the handle which allows the cover and pan to hang as one unit. Definitely would recommend this pan. In my 45 years of cooking I have had many, many different types of cookware. Cheap ones, much more expensive ones and this is a great modern professional style and performs exceptionally for the very reasonable price! Could do without his face on the bottom of the pan.
