Came defective

I purchased two of these faucets. The first faucet was installed quite quickly. The second one was quite a different story. First, the cold water supply line was labeled on the left side, not right. Things the opposite of how these are usually hooked up on the US. See pic. Next, the stems operated backwards. The water was on, when in the up position. I had to take the stems off and reverse the stop washer. I got it fixed, but this was more work than this DIYer expected. Especially for the price. One star.

Faucet was promptly delivered and installed easily by the homeowner. The hot water lever seems a bit sticky for operation, but has not, as yet, been a significant issue with operation. May disassemble and lube the washer/gasket. HD was excellent!

Style and dimensions fit perfectly for my older bathroom. Needed specific clearance for handles and pop up drain handle. Limited space in the back and this faucet has the pop up handle on the top and not the back. A little pricey but unique and good quality.

Single hole mount is easy to clean, but you need to specify one hole in your counter top. If you already have 3 holes, there is an escutcheon that covers the counter top, but I like the looks of the single hole mount. I prefer the two handles for quick and easy volume and temp control to all other designs. After 9 years chrome still looks like a new Harley! Sink drain valve and hardware could use improvement - slow and hard to adjust, but that is a minor problem. Price may be the lowest of all the Kohler line.

As another review noted, the supply lines are permanently attached to the faucet and are undersize, resulting in lower water delivery at the spout and requiring adapter fittings (not included) at the supply valves (or you can change to 3/8" valves). Otherwise, this is a nice piece of hardware with smoothly acting quarter turn handles and ceramic cartridges that should last a long time. Just wish they could have fitted in standard 1/2" supply lines.
