Great faucet

As always another beautiful Kohler product installed in our bathroom renovation that is as good as it gets

REPLACED 2x in 2 yrs...&broken again

We installed the Kohler Bancroft bath/shower/faucet suite and within a year had a loose handle. Kohler couldn't send just the handle--backordered. So I bought another faucet set. That one too has a handle that has loosened. The last plumber tightened the escutcheon to the point we can't get it off. Kohler's response was that "it just periodically needs to be tightened." I'm old enough to have been through a few faucets that lasted more than a decade and none of them required periodic tightening. Kohler is just one more of those co.s that doesn't care about durability. They have beautiful faucets, and marketing--but there is no integrity in their mfr process. And I can say this bc I've had 3 Artifacts kitchen faucets in two years. We finally gave up and had a Brizo installed. Don't even consider this brand no matter how aesthetically appealing. The expense, frustration, and inconvenience are inexcusable for a the price of these faucets.

Beautiful and worth it!

This faucet is everything I hoped it would be. It's heavy enough to fight off an assailant and has an old-fashioned, timeless appeal. It's super-high quality. This one is polished nickel, and I bought a second faucet, for another bathroom, in brushed nickel, because I liked the first one so much.

Serious design flaw.

The provided hoses to connect the faucets to the spout are inadequate. I had to redesign the underside fittings to make it possible to connect without water flow stopping kinks. Only buy this if you can and are willing to redesign their product.

Beautiful design and quality! Our plumber was so impressed with the quality of these faucets! A little more $$ than some of the others, but worth every penny.

Don't get Polished Nickel

We remodeled our Master Bath, installing all Bancroft faucets and towel racks in Polished Nickel. I ordered Kohler's Faucet cleaner right away. The finish never looks good. After two months, they look worse than the 21 year old Moen Chrome we had before! Called Kohler and the rep said are your hands clean when you touch the faucet? Was anything sprayed in the bathroom? Supposedly anything can void Kohler's coverage of the product. So don't wash you hands with this faucet, and remove the faucet from the sink before cleaning the counter and sink. Thousands of dollars invested in Kohler polished nickel and my wife just wants to rip it out.

Heavy, good quality. Simple but elegant faucet. I have it in polished nickel. Easy to keep clean.

Buy water supply lines before installing. The faucet end measures 1/4 inch and other end connecting to my cutoff valve measures 1/2 inch. Measure yours before buying.

Beautiful, solid faucet

While you could get a cheaper faucet in a big box store, Kohler faucets are made of high quality materials that will last much longer. I was looking for a simple two handle faucet that would enhance the appearance of my bathroom and this one fits the bill.

The price was the only drawback. Seems rather spendy for a faucet. But,..it is really nice quality! It is heavy and would guess, it will be the last faucet I purchase for this bathroom!

Had this same set years ago but became corroded. This replacement is not all metal like the original. It is chrome covered plastic. Disappointed in the quality.

Not only is the design of this faucet practical but it is sleek and very easy to clean. This purchase is a replacement for the exact same model, which we had for 15 years. I was thrilled Kohler was still selling it.

Bancroft faucet

Heavy feel and look. My favorite choice for a classic high end look without the the price point of the Margaux. The polished nickel is beautiful but I chrome is a better value.

High quality and very stylish faucet. It was relatively easy to install. I love Kohler bathroom fixtures. My old Kohler that needed replacement still looked brand new and was >30 yrs old. Kohler customer service is great too. Still carry parts for discontinued models, mine was just a bit too old.

I love the Koehler faucet. However it does not comfortably fit the Koehler sink I purchased at the same time. Even with professional installation the drain stopper can only open slightly. This is a defect of Koehler.

I was impressed with the build quality of the Bancroft faucet set. What you can't see in the pictures is that this is made of very heavy brass with a very nice finish. I was also impressed with the weight and quality of the drain and the valves. Very nice faucet set. I'm very pleased my wife pick this one. I did experience one issue buying this item. When it arrived one of the handles had come loose from the valve and had bounced around damaging the finish on the handle. Upon investigation, I found a screw that retained the handle was missing (nowhere to be found in the box). I contacted Overstock they said they were unable to supply parts, but provided several options, including return for credit, replacement unit, and an option to retain the unit, as is, with a store credit. The customer service was exceptional and while nobody like to have the hassle of a damaged product, the caring customer service offset the inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this faucet set if you like the "beefy" styling, and I'll definitely continue to recommend Overstock based on their customer service.
